Definitely a must have for a movie night in. Yes, I could stream it but I wanted a more nostalgic feel by sticking a disc in enjoying it with the wife. Plus some bonus features.

This was a good package of all the movies together in a compact case. Not the fanciest to collect as looks to be an assembly of different surplus discs. There are reviews that say these are just the movies because it goes straight to playing the movie but if you hit disc menu on your player there is in fact a menu with extra features.

All 8 films in one package. Purchased it so my young son can watch them all.

Make sure to check your boxed set as soon as you get it. I didn't open it right away and it was well past my return date when I realized disc 8 was missing, and disc 7 was in there twice. They let me exchange it anyway, which I appreciated. At least one of the discs said Disc 1 on it, which was not the first movie. It was obviously from a multidisc set of that movie. As you can guess, if you really want all the special features you can possibly get, this is not the set for you. If you just want all the movies in one compact set, this is it.

This was a Christmas gift for my brother and his family they love Harry Potter.

The Harry Potter saga has left an indelible and timeless mark on me. The way I personally judge whether a movie is good is when I am actually sitting in the theater watching it and I think to myself, "Wow I NEED to get this movie as soon as it comes out on Blu Ray." And I had that thought in the theater for every one of the Potter films. This collection is perfect because it's a one-time deal where you're able to get each charming and magical film. It's perfect for Witches, Wizards, Trolls, Goblins, and even those measly, clueless Muggles.

How can you go wrong with this series? I was afraid I'd spend the money and only watch it once. Well I went through it, my mom went through it again. Apparently we both forgot a lot from when it was in the theaters. My friend who's never seen the series started watching them. And my niece and nephew who has never seen them will sure to watch them a bunch. Glad to see this series getting its money worth.

I grew up reading the Harry Potter books and saw them all in theaters upon their release. It had been a few years since I sat down and watched the movies so I decided while they were on sale to go buy all of them and watch them consecutively. It has been quite a pleasure to me and my wife to sit down together and get that nostalgic feeling as we watch the movies. It was well worth the movie to buy this set, it came out to be a little over $6 for each film, so really cheap blu rays and really good movies.

The shipping and handling was done well. No apparent damage on product. I’m rating this 4 mainly because of the way the movies were created as Blu-rays. The first 5 movies started right away with no menu (which was weird but acceptable because you can skip all commercials and doing all of the extraneous motions of playing the movie). The last three had menus and when we had to stop them for a while, they didn’t resume where we left off and wouldn’t let us skip the commercials. It was a pain just go get to the menu. So the Blu-rays were inconsistent to how they were digitally mastered on the discs. I wish all of them worked the same way and had some uniformity. But it just looks like someone took blurays from different packages and put them all into one. A little sloppy handiwork if you ask me.

what can I say this is nostalgic able to get the almost complete collection there is now 11 movies in total for a low price although the 4k with the golden snitch case has both this and the 4k copies this was enough for me honestly the 4k killed the 3d not a big fan for the backwards thinking.

A must have! I enjoy watching this film series and to have them in bluray is better than my DVDs. Unfortunately my DVDs have been skipping or stopping during viewing even when I'm careful with them I had to upgrade. At the price for this set I had to do it and glad I have. Truly a better watching experience with great detail in the scenes I missed.
