Blu-ray and 4k physical is the way to go. Streaming internet videos has too much compression. Sound and Picture quality is much better and considering is for niche viewers. Streaming can be for the masses and for the select few that need that stable Picture and Sound, we get the DVD.

I have been looking for this set on Blue Ray for awhile, without paying an arm and a leg. I also did not like the fancy box set because of the packaging. It was hard to get the disc in and out. I saw this on the shelf in the boxed set section for just over $50 before Christmas and snagged it. Easy to get in and out of the packaging and love how it jumps straight into the movie when I put it in the player. No complicated menus to navigate.

I bought this box set of the Harry Potter movies on the Best Buy website. I wanted all the movies in one set, so that I didn't have 8 more whole cases taking up space on my shelves, so the condensed single box these came in was great. The price for this set was excellent, on sale for $85 for all 8 Blu-ray discs, and with my Reward Zone points I had saved up I was able to save a little more on them, too. The only downsides for me are that there aren't many extras on the discs and that the individual movies may be from different original sets, but if I really cared that much about them (or you do) there are, of course, other complete sets with more options. If you just want the movies and less fluff, this is a great deal!

Started watching the Harry Potter movies when they first came out being my kids were young and loved them.. And I will admit I enjoyed them just as much.. I had all the movies before in dvd format. Now everything is in high definition I had to upgrade to blue ray. And I enjoyed them just as much today as I used to.. great find. Ckassic.....

Only wish it had the digital download codes included!

This collection of all eight Harry Potter movies is just that - all the movies. Which is a great deal if you don't own many of the movies and just want the movies, but true collectors should shy away from this set since it falls short with extra content. More specifically, it's pretty clear that these disks were just copied from other, more complete sets - most blatantly, the Half-Blood Prince even has "Disk 1" printed on it - and since these are long movies, they don't have much on them besides the movie itself and a couple of short bonus scenes (no commentary, for instance). So all in all, a bit disappointing, but still a good deal.

Great series for family movie nights. Although as a parent i found parts of each movie to be very frustrating. I mean come on!!! The aunt and uncle at the beginning of each film. How are they not terrified of the potter kid, and why does he keep going back?? It was made clear in the first film that potter was rich, so its really his fault for being in that situation.

We bought this complete set just before Coronavirus things got worse. And started Harry Potter Marathon With my kids during Austin Stay at Home order period. The movie has been helping my family to create family memories in times like this and giving us a little courage to get through! BTW, Best Buy’s Curb Side Pickup was snap!!!

Prior to buying this collection I've movies we did our research as to where our best bang for our buck would be. Buying all the movies separately would have been $30-$50 more than buying them all together. Best Buy also seemed to have the best deal. Blue Ray also is also so much better than a regular DVD. The picture is so clear that it's almost like you are watching a completely different tv.

Watch a kid wizard and his rag tag team of English sorcerers fight to preserve their high school as they come of age fighting a snake man I'm not allowed to name, and win our hearts, grow old and make baby wizards. Also Alan Rickman is pure gold. RIP you did...not..disappoint..me, good sir.

You know what you're getting when you buy the movies - Nothing new there. If you're hoping for discs with extras like the lord of the rings or others have this set doesn't provide anything new... as it appears to be previously authored Blu-Rays already issued individually packaged in the collection, so no new extra content, which I'm fine with. Like that it's not big and bulky like some collections I've purchased.

Our Granddaughter was very excited to receive this item on Christmas Day. This 8 disc set has very high quality picture quality and our Granddaughter is a big Harry Potter fan, so if you know someone that enjoys Harry Potter films this in my opinion would be a great gift. You can't go wrong.

Although I saw the entire Harry Potter series when they first came out, it was more enjoyable the second time around. I was not disappointed with my purchase of the entire BlueRay Disc set. I thoroughly enjoyed it and especially enjoyed all the "special features" which included interviews, behind the scenes including how the sets were made. My grandchildren enjoyed watching the series also.

This was a purchase to help calm my wife and kids down after we learned that Freeform would no longer have the rights the the Harry Potter Franchise. We loved Harry Potter Weekends and even though we owned a mixture of all the movies either on Blu-Ray or DVD, I want the entire series on Blu-Ray in one convieint box. Now we can have HP Weekend whenever we want!!!

These are my favorite movies, streaming on Amazon or Hulu or whatever and having to watch adds just doesn’t feel right to me so I had to have them permanently. Plus all the bonus features are great too.

We love Harry Potter! Had the collection in DVD but wanted to upgrade to the Blu-ray. Love the clarity and crispness to the picture quality. These are great movies to enjoy again and again. Fun movies to escape the real world and land in a world of magic, wizards and great friendships. Glad we upgraded to Blu-ray! These are great fun for kids from 9-90! Can be a little scary for small kids.

I won't go into reviewing each Harry Potter movie because if you're buying this product you've likely seen them all. The thing I most enjoyed about this movie pack was how small the packaging is (roughly two blu-ray cases in depth), it'll fit on my shelf and not occupy a lot of space. I haven't gone through any of the special features yet but everything seems pretty standard.

My wife loved the series and since we bought a new Blue Ray player I thought I'd surprise her with the Harry Potter collection. All good except, and I read this over and over but thought they fixed it, the case that holds the DVD's is terrible. Cheaply made but not a big deal, movies still worth 5 stars.

It was time to update our Harry Potter Collection from the last 5 years. Its great to have all 8 movies in Blu-Ray and in one convenient package. Great picture quality and surround sound! The price was even better...
