As a birthday gift for a child who has just read the books, this set fits the bill. As for the movies themselves, they improved over time. The first two in the series suffered from both the episodic storytelling, the immediately dated CGI, and inexperienced actors. As they aged, the plotting became more sophisticated as well, resulting in movies that stand alone from the books.

Of course you want it. If you want Harry Potter without our all those pesky movies that aren’t Harry Potter, this is the set for you.

A must buy for any Harry Potter lover and also a lover of high quality Blu-ray definition. So clean and pretty. So much def and soooooo very nice visuals!! Don't think just buy!!!

Great set if you did not keep up with the collection with each release. There are no additional extras than what was originally included in each movie but it is a great deal for a great price.

The books were great, waiting for the next movie adaptation was no fun but now they're all here in one bundle! Make a weekend of it and spend time with your family or go at it alone!!

loved all 8 movies. think it moved at the right pace & loved the way they got more sinister as they went along. Hated Snape at first, but I think we all did

great series of the Harry Potter collection. They are great movies as it is and being able to watch them on blu-Ray is even better because the quality is so clear its un-real. I love it.

A good value. Super enjoyable only marred by slightly by the inexplicable TERF hill JK Rowling chose to die on.

Bought this whole set for the last movie. Ha already owned it but it got lost. This is tge only way to own part 2 without breaking the bank. Neat little set I'll give it that.

To get all the movies that you really want to get for that special someone and are able to find it all on one. The price was amazing, as it always is at Best Buy.

We have watched DVDs 1-4, 1, 2 and 3 did not follow the book to too well, as most movies don't, but 4 was pretty close to the book.
