Cute but overhyped

My 6,5, and 3 year old ran out of steam after a couple minutes of rubbing and wanted me to do it for them. They may have spent two additional more minutes playing with the pets and then moved on to a different toy

The novelty wears off once the eggs have hatched

Unfortunately, in the case of the hatchimals, they have been sitting in their egg crate untouched and unopened now that all the eggs have hatched. The only novel aspect about this product is the ability to warm it up to hatch it and reveal the surprise that lies inside.
