This is one of my favorite Eddie Murphy movies....

Totally fun and goofy. If you have never seen it, give it a watch.

Oh, stay away from this one, folks. Far away. I am an Eddie Murphy fan of his '80s hits, but this one, is a flop. The effects for the time look decent and the mansion they picked, etc. for the base story is nice to look at, but that is only a piece of the whole picture. Whoever designed the menu setup for this Blu-ray should be ashamed as well. It's not good using a pop up style menu. When you press MENU on your remote it says NO MENU. Bad casting in this one and for it to be a DISNEY movie, over fifteen years ago at least, it has some bad language in it as well. NOT recommended, especially if you have young ones watching it for the Halloween type of atmosphere.

I bought this movie to add to my Disney and halloween movie collection. It was on sale for a good price.

Just to watch that amazing mansion is worth watching! But the whole story and so many creative and unpredictable scenes and acting was simply amazing! It's a comedy and adventure movie first of all that falls into a rank with Beetlejuice.....Very surprised....Felt like watching a video game with 25 different levels....Gonna buy it on Bluray....Don't care it got low rating on IMDB.....

An absolutely hilarious movie! My kids and I watch this movie over and over again and still laugh at it every time we watch it. It's Haunted Mansion, NOT Pirates! Love the Disneyland ride, love the movie!

When this was released the fall of 2003 I had great expectations because of how much I enjoyed ‘Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse of the Black Pearl" that was released the same year. I was let down. Have always loved "The Haunted Mansion" attraction at Disneyland. Eddie Murphy doing his usual role of a smart alec, pushy guy. Did not care about his character nor the kids. Madam Leota if you are expecting an eerie vision from the attraction you will be disappointed. Jennifer Tilly just repeated some of the lines from the attraction. The special effects were great. They did nothing with the characters & how much can a person take of Eddie Murphy doing the same old thing?

The greatest sequence is where the main star and his co-star kiss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved this movie ever since I first saw it! And it is funny, so its a movie for everyone who likes laugh and spooks...
