Picked up the unit the first day it arrived at our local Best Buy. It worked great for about two weeks and then would respond to control inputs, depsite extended charging, etc. Took it back to Best Buy with receipt...who graciously refunded my money, since they had no stock for a replacment and could offer no timeframe for a replacement.

I had this radio at work and it did the job nicely for me for the first 7 months. I unplugged the earphones and replaced them from time to time, but not more than once a day on average. This morning, I put the earphone in and got nothing. Through the process of elimination, after testing the earphone on other devices, etc. I have concluded the jack contacts have failed.

Even though a small portable, I expected better reception. Outside is fine but poorer than I expected inside. Also, must be much closer to the station's transmitter than I expected.

It works well when sitting around the house, picked up a few channels, but as soon as i took it in my truck and hooked it up through an Auxillary cable it was all over. Constantly loosing channels, and i was only 2-3 miles from my house, if I stopped moving it was fine.

Purchased first one April 2013, it stopped working (no sound) in June 2013 and got a free replacement under the 90 day warranty. The 2nd one just stopped working (no sound) after 2 months. I should have read reveiws before I purchasd it which said many folks have experience the same failures after a month or two. I'm disappointed in that Best Buy would carry this radio give it's poor quality track record.

Have used this for several weeks now and am very pleased with all aspects of unit.

Mine broke after 5 weeks. The guy at the Best Buy store "Customer Service" department sent me away because it was outside of 30 days. I had to read the warranty on line then go back a 2nd time to have it replaced. Be careful of Best Buy's warranty policy.

no problems like with others radios, i like that it comes with an armband, and the price for me was really good.

Controls are not very reliable because sometimes don't work properly.

I was excited about this radio when I read about it. It was hard to find, but finally found one at local Best Buy. Unfortunately it's going back. It picks up the analog FM stations just fine, but reception of HD channels is sporadic to non-existent. I can see the local radio transmission towers from where I jog, yet it couldn't lock onto over half the HD stations. The ones it does receive are intermittent, even when used at the same location from one day to the next.

Bought this about a month ago...returned it today. Was very happy with the radio, then all of a sudden it just stopped working....I didn't get reception on any stations. I was using it at work and was able to get all the stations I liked and then one day I just couldn't tune into anything.

Slow responding processor, no AM band, hard to turn on and off.

I bought this radio to check out the HD radio rave...I am disappointed with this radio. this is supposed to be an armband radio so you use it when you are on the move, right? I walk for a living and this radio will not even hold the HD signal of any of the Connecticut stations beyond three or so steps.This is the main reason I decided to purchase it for HD. Needless to say it's going back. Now I may have the "bad" unit so I'll exchange it. It was dead out of the box and had to be charged and the positive reviews I have read here say theirs worked right out of the box...so here's hoping.

The radio won't even turn on. I have it connected to a known good charger and it won't turn on. The Insignia web site calls copies of the setup guide and owners manual "Support" and there is no other information available. When I called Customer Support, they directed me to the web site. When it was working, the radio would switch off HD even though I am 10 miles away from the radio tower. This is a residential area with no obstacles that would create interference. The Insignia "support" person told me to listen to the radio outside if I wanted a good signal. Based on this product and Insignia's customer support, I will never buy another Insignia product of any kind.

Within an hour of buying this product, I had tested the product to make sure it worked, and charged it for a short bit. After turning it on, all it does is produce a solid white screen with no reaction to any input. Hitting reset turns the white screen off momentarily and goes straight to the white screen again. I just wish I had bought it earlier in the day so I wouldn't have to wait a day to return it.

This is a grate proud. Better then the FM Tuner on my Ipod nano! I use my ipod headphones on it!

I was excited when I heard an ad for this radio so I went out and grabbed one. Boy I was shocked when I got it home. The radion would only pick up 3 total FM stations, and wouldn't pick up any HD Stations even though there are over 20 in my area. I took the thing back the very next day for a refund. They hype this radio up but once you get it home its a real dissappointment!

I have purchased two of these and they both broke after the 90 day warranty and wthin one year; no lie. I'd never buy one again.

I charged this radio and turned it on,and shuffled through a few stations, but then the buttons quit working. I tried resetting and that didn't help. I couldn't turn the darn thing off, so I finally just let the battery run down. It's cute, but I never got to find out if it works. I'm returning it--and I better get a refund for the full price plus shipping. Value would be great if it worked, otherwise, it's a dud.

I was hoping this would work so I could use it at work and at football games. I can't get any HD stations at work and the headphones are very uncomfortable.
