Performance beyond my expectations

So I am in the process of initiating my cord cutting service. I purchased this item hopping to get some channels, but I was surprised with the digital network TV that I received. My only disappointment is that Hdhomerun does not have a Roku channel at the moment.

Posted .Sadly Roku still will not support Live TV formats required - we've been begging them for years to support MPEG2.

OTA TV on all my devices

Uverse does not carry the "sub channels" that are available on OTA broadcast stations like METV. Since it requires an Ethernet connection and antenna hookup I learned about MoCa which provides very fast network connection.

Posted .It is always pretty amazing to discover the channels you can get locally that you had no idea existed. It's crazy to plug in that antenna expecting about 6 channels and getting about 30!

Dropping Cable?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For anyone using an android TV type streaming device (even Fire TV) this works very well for bringing over-the-air broadcast channels into your network environment via a TV antenna. The built in channel guide is free and gives great descriptions of upcoming shows and the DVR interface is easy to use. It is important to note that ROKU does not currently have an app to use this device.

We like to think that our devices handle Live TV setup better than any other device on the market, because you don't need to sign in to anything to get started, and the HDHomeRun device will start scanning for channels the second you plug it in. That means by the time you have your HDHomeRun app downloaded, all your channels should already be ready!
