Its limited some but its a great option i use my fire stick with it and tablets and phones anywhere in my home which makes it worth it, but the dvr service is too pricy in my opinion

The tuner did its job and worked great. uktimately i returned as the antenna i bought wasnt getting barely any channels.

I returned this and bought a Tivo Roamio because my installer had never heard of it, and in reading up about it, it was convoluted to get to actually watch shows using this device

this is the ultimate cord cutter device for tv watching on your network. combine with plex and you have DVR-like functionality

So, it works, but you need to know it's limitations. First: it doesn't have a strong ability pull in signals. So you'll need a good antenna (or live in an area with strong signals). Consider buying a booster too. Second: be aware of what it will do to your network. Third: if you want to DVR - consider how you're going to do it. If all those are understood, you get what you pay for. It works. Picked up for Olympics. Haven't really used since.

This tv tuner works fine as long as I disconnect my VPN. Kind of disappointed I can't run both. Why should my tv tuner care if I'm running the VPN?

The Connect works good. Be sure that you have a good signal from your antenna.

It's great for being able to watch TV on your smart phone

Paired with my Plex server, this makes not having a cable subscription so much easier to handle.

Not that it tastes good but it works for what I need. Don’t spend the extra $ if you don’t need to on the recording portion. Set up Plex media server and use it through there. Free schedule and set up for recording.

The OTA antenna in my bedroom picks up channels the one in the attic doesn't so I just hooked this up to that one and now I have all the channels we can get anywhere in the house without running a bunch of extra coax.

What I didn't realize is that you still have to pay an annual fee, but it is all good.

Used this product with a Verizon Vcard in order to save money on set top boxes. It worked out well for the purpose intended but got annoying having to go through third party channel programming apps to watch TV.

I use this with my Apple TV to be able to view antenna channels. It’s been put to good use since we cut the cord.

Set up was difficult, channels were freezing up in the beginning but had to go through set up again to get it working.

I added a booster to my antenna and was able to pick up over 50 channels. My TV was able to connect and show the channels although changing channels took getting used to.

Runs kind of hot, and the ethernet cable that came with it, pooped out in the second month - but overall a cool product

The product distributes OTA tv fine. I subscribed to the Premium to get Halmark channel because I couldn’t get it with YouTube TV. I wound up canceling premium and signing up for Sling, because Hallmark just disappeared one day and I could not get any phone support. The TV antenna streaming works great, though, which is the primary reason I bought it. A little expensive for what it is.

I purchase the Silicondust HDHomeRun CONNECT to use with Plex DVR. The CONNECT is great if you have a network with good AC wifi coverage or wired ethernet access.

Paired with a good media PC and antenna (outdoors is best) this allows you to stream and record OTA television to every connected TV in your home. Great for cord cutters.
