I liked this movie because the acting was good and the story line kept me engaged. The 4k made it better.

The only complaint I have is that the picture felt darker than it should be, other than that its a very good 4K print.

Honestly, I prefer the included blu ray over the 4K disc, but it’s a great film and I only paid $9 so, it’s all good.

Best version of the movie yet! 25+ year old and still a great film. This set includes both 4K UHD and standard Blu-Ray. The Blu-Ray disc has some really good bonus content that those who like the back stories and how they did it info will surely enjoy. Yes the images are a bit darker than the previous versions, but not so much that it changes the movie if you will. If you had the original Blu-Ray release with the audio sync issue, they have been resolved in this release on the 4K disc. Overall the soundtrack is a bit front side biased, but when it does use the surrrounds.. YOU WILL KNOW IT!! The clarity throughout is impressive and the dialogue is well anchored and clear. This is the best representation of the film..Full stop!

Solid, riveting crime drama. Super cast! Never had watched this film before!

The main confrontation scene 3/4 of the way through is freaking intense! If you have surround sound with top notch speakers, crank it up to feel every blast, bang, and hear the glass shatter around you.

Heat is just a classic movie that a lot of other movies and tv shows take scenes from. The cast is star and future star filled with great take away quotes also. Some reviews say the 4K version is too dark, but it's an older film with a lot of dark scenes that fit the mood of the film. As long as you have a higher nit hdr TV and has it calibrated for a dark room environment. It will look fine. I didn't get any scenes that I though were unwatchable. The standard Blu-ray without hdr will be brighter because non hdr content will always be brighter than hdr content. So the included standard Blu-ray could be a good fall back option if your TV is too dark for the 4K hdr version.
