Awesome Action-Crime Drama Movie! Master criminal Neil McCauley (Robert De Niro) is trying to control the rogue actions of one of his men, while also planning one last big heist before retiring. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Hanna (Al Pacino) attempts to track down McCauley as he deals with the chaos in his own life, including the infidelity of his wife (Diane Venora) and the mental health of his stepdaughter (Natalie Portman). McCauley and Hanna discover a mutual respect, even as they try to thwart each other's plans.

Great action movie featuring De Niro's bad guy vs Pacino's good guy. Add bad boys Kilmer, Sizemore, Voight and some assault rifles bullet proof vests, explosives and you have the best shoot out at the plantation scenes you're going to see on film. Solid 4 Star action movie, 4.5 Stars for the 4k picture, 5 Stars for 5.1 surround sound but I'm giving it only 4 Stars overall for sound because it's not remixed in ATMOS. This is now an ATMOS World and if you're going to release a 4k action movie, ATMOS is the standard! What were they thinking? Maybe a re-release of the re-release? As-is a definite best buy.

This is one of my favorite five or six movie ever, but it doesn’t look good on 4K. I bought it on Apple TV last summer, and it looked very dark. I got a refund, thinking it was defective. Then, I bought it again on disc, thinking that would resolve things. Nope. It still looks very dark, like your watching a 3D movie in a theater. It looks much better on blu-ray. I wouldn’t upgrade if I were you. The resolution looks good, but the darkness overwhelms any improvement in picture quality.

Transitioning over to 4k makes a tremendous difference. Love it!

Another classic action flick starring 2 of the most iconic actors of our time, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, bringing all types of HEAT to this cop action drama. You can't dismiss Val Kilmer's contribution to this movie which he was at his best since his performance in Tombstone. Even in today's high CGI based movies, this one still holds up.

FINALLY saw this cool movie directed by Michael Mann (Mr Miami Vice)...Pacino and DeNiro are Rico sauve in their respective mutual cat & mouse conflicts, & it was good seeing a healthy Val Kilmer being so colorfully low-key in his character! the 4k version is ALL over the place in regards to audio placement, ESP. with Dolby Atmos rocking...excellent story!!!

I received the Heat 4k yesterday and it was delivered by mail in perfect condition. I was thrilled by that! I haven’t watched it yet-but wanted to go ahead and post about the delivery since many of us had had issues with things getting damaged in the mail. This didn’t occur with this order at all. I’m a happy camper, y’all!

Not a good transfer. The picture is too dark and the sound is also not that great. The movie though is a classic

All time classic on 4K, doesn’t get better than that! Don’t know why people are complaining so much about the transfer. It’s looks great on my OLED! Never once though it was too dark, is it as bright as sicario? No… still looks fine, and for $8 can’t beat that

Al Pacino, and Robert Dinero in their best co-appearance ever. Yes they both appeared in the Godfather, but not on the same screen. Some of the best cinematic scenes, and dts sound mixing(for those who want to hear their surround sound sound its best), its in my top 5 ever.

I love this movie. One of the most realistic gunfights in cinema history. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is because of the spotty 4k transfer. I was really hoping for a better looking 4k blu ray than this, but it was not to be. How disappointing. The movie here is just simply too dark, and I don't like straining my eyes when I'm watching a movie. The audio is terrific though. If enough people complain maybe they'll correct this.

The picture is definitely an upgrade over the standard Blu-Ray release. The surround sound is amazing. It is definitely worth the purchase, to upgrade. The movie itself is awesome. Pacino and Deniro both do a good job. But Kilmer's performance is very subtle, and amazing.
