Great movie and a great transfer to 4K. One of my favorite Mann movies,

Excellent movie excellent acting transfer and sound could have been better

I love this movie. Alpacino and De’Niro face off!!! I love when they’re talking and they’re going back and forth showing who’s the better man. Lots of action.

This got bad reviews for the 4k transfer, but it looks great on my tv

The film is excellent, but the 4K upgrade is rather underwhelming. It's undoubtedly an improvement over the older releases (both the Universal and remastered Fox ones), but still pretty marginal of an upgrade. The HDR in particular was disappointing, even taking into account the intentionally muted visual style. I could complain that the audio track wasn't remastered, but it's fine as-is and Disney would've ruined it anyway, so I guess it's a plus...? Either way, it politely includes the 2-disc remastered 1080p release from Fox, so for $9 on-sale, it's not a bad package.

This is one of my favorite five or six movie ever, but it doesn’t look good on 4K. I bought it on Apple TV last summer, and it looked very dark. I got a refund, thinking it was defective. Then, I bought it again on disc, thinking that would resolve things. Nope. It still looks very dark, like your watching a 3D movie in a theater. It looks much better on blu-ray. I wouldn’t upgrade if I were you. The resolution looks good, but the darkness overwhelms any improvement in picture quality.

Excellent. Great movie, 4K quality is tremendous. Definitely recommend.

Sure its a bir darker in color contrast. But its an upgrade from the blu ray.

I have the VHS and old DVD copy of this movie but was waiting patiently for the UHD version as I never bought the BluRay copy. The sound is very good but the picture on the UHD copy is way too dark! I tried with Dolby Vision on and off...i have the brightness all the way up (both my TV and UHD Player have settings) and nothing helped. Standard Blu Ray (which this does come with) is more watchable. Honestly if you already have the BluRay version i'd skip the UHD as you won't see improvments.

Excellent movie, quality picture and sound. Well worth the price
