The Director's Definitive 1995 edition of "Heat" has been re-mastered from the original Blu-Ray DVD I purchased when this movie first came out. I must say that the re-mastered version of this classic thriller is a must have for any movie collection especially at a great price offered by Best Buy. Thank you.

This is such a classic movie, I had to own it on Blu-Ray and it came with a Digitial Copy too! Pacino, De Niro. Need I say more? I love that I have this as part of my library now.

As a cinephile, I can't believe how long I went on without watching this classic. After a while, thanks to BestBuy, I decided to pick up this blu-ray with the digital copy and gave it a shot. This film honestly blew my mind of how intense and well-done it is. No need to say anything else about the cast, because...you know. One of, if not, the greatest heist film ever.

One of my all time favorite movies! This edition is a must have for any movie buff or collector. Found out so many new things about the movie I never knew about! Best bank robbing movie of all time!!

When I first saw this movie in the theater I didn't know what to expect. But I knew anything directed by Michael Mann, award winning stars Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and supporting cast member Val Kilmer, I knew I was in for a ride. And I was right. So when this video became available on Blue-ray disc I had to add it to my video library.

Heat is truly one of the best heist films of all time and has an amazing cast containing Al Pacino, Robert de Niro, Val Kilmer, and Ashley Judd, and is directed by Michael Mann. Highly recommend.

This movie packs action and suspense, along with a great cast of characters. Robert Deniro plays a hardened criminal, unwilling to involve himself with something he can't leave in 30 mins or less. All Pacino is one step behind Deniro's crew, which consists of Val Kilmer.

This is one of my all time favorite movies and i had it on dvd already but the feature this blu ray offers were well worth the purchase. the special features made me feel closer to the material and it felt like I was watching it all over again.

Heat Blu-Ray DVD movie is high quality, great action, acting, and plot. Robert DeNiro is always good. However, a little long.

The remaster was personally overseen by Michael Mann himself, so you know its good. Image quality is SUPERB, Sound is crystal clear and dynamic... BUT.. The timing is off :-( The lip sync is off by a few milliseconds, obvious as it gets when looking at them direct on, or very noticeable when seeing the muzzle flash from a gun and the sound is off. Close but no cigar. Thankfully I only paid about $5 for it. Fi you already own HEAT on disc, save your money on this version. The bonus features are pretty cool though, might be worth it for them alone.

Just when I thought this movie couldn’t get any better. I was totally wrong this movie looks amazing and is one of my favorite heist crime and heist films.

I'm not going to go into detail about the plot. If you haven't seen this by now you can go to any movie site for a synopsis. I will say that the quality of the blu-ray is the best I've ever seen this film. Good extras, too.

So many good actors but no two compare to big rob, and big Al. Top it off with some Kilmer and bank robbing, awesome soundtrack and killer audio. Only gripe is the volume is all over the spectrum with this movie. So many stars in it tho. Tom sizemore, young Natalie Portman. Great movie.

Heat, the marvelous crime thriller from Michael Mann, was previously released on Blu-ray a little under 10 years ago. This new version provides a new video transfer and 2 hours of new special features as well as all the special features of the previous release.

i just wanted to have this classic movie master piece in the best definition so far until they make a 4k version then ill buy that one and give this one to mom duke!if you never seen heat shame on you. buy it ,watch it and watch it with all your family members.

The perfect crime drama which many directors have tried to copy with limited success. The music, storyline, direction, cinematic camera angles are exceptional when compared with the current crop of cinematic blunders. A must see for serious crime drama buffs.

Oh my gosh, the Director's Definitive Edition on Blu-Ray is awesome. My order was fast and having Pacino and De Niro on the same screen... 'nuff said. Reminded me of how much I love movies.

I got this during black friday for only $3.95 and what you get for that price is incredible. There's comprehensive special features, the picture quality is fantastic and the sound will blow you away. Even at the full retail price of $8 is totally worth it.
