I bought this because it's one of those classic must-have movies like Die Hard and Terminator, but with the added benefit of Bluray remastered content. Overall, i'm very pleased and would highly recommend this movie to any Robert De Niro and Al Pacino fans.

Over 20 years later, this film still feels fresh and has aged very well. Great performances, great cinematography and of course...the big Los Angeles street shootout scene! If you haven't seen it, then watch it. If you have seen it, then re-watch it!

An all-time classic crime movie with vintage Pacino and De Niro. It has has plot, great action, great suspense, great dialogue and captivating music. All around awesome movie. Highly recommend

100% worth owning while we wait for the 4K UHD. Not sure how much of an upgrade that would be though… At this price this Blu-ray is a no brained.

I watch this every year at least once. Fine storytelling and character development. It's up there with James Can in Thief. Another Michael Mann movie. The way the two main characters work off each other's style is fine cinematography.

Glad I decided to finally upgrade to blu ray from my previous VHs . Such an excellent addition to my collection. I can so remember the first time I saw it on a rental vhs . Excellence movie and great extras.

This movie is amazing, and has arguably one of the best shoot outs in cinematic history. Cast, directing, and production value are all top notch. Highly recommend checking this out if you haven't seen it already.

If you are a Lover of Goodfellas or any Robert De Niro Movies. You will Love HEAT. If you are a fan of Al Pacino than You will Love this Movie too. But, If you like Val Kilmer well this is Definitely Your Movie. An all-star Cast that is just Phenomenal.

Considered one of Michael Mann's best films, if not one of the best gangster films ever made. The great acting doesn't end with Pacino and De Niro. Every actor adds to the film. In addition it has one of the most realistic depiction of firearms.

Great movie with a all star cast. Excellent picture & sound quality. Compared to VHS recording the worse to Blu-ray on 1080p tv.

Seeing this movie in ultra HD is awesome. Get yourself a good sound system and the action scenes will knock your socks off. If you have a halfway decent movie watching set up and are a fan of this movie it is a great investment.

Since Heat is one of my all-time favorite films, I already owned both a DVD copy and a prior Blu-ray copy. Because this Director's Definitive Edition includes extra extras, and, most importantly a digital copy, I purchased it on sale from Best Buy.

Oh man. This disc is straight fire if you catch my meaning. The non-stop action never flames out and the entire cast sizzles in their performance. I'm straight burning up to watch this movie again!

This has to be the third or fourth different version I own! Can't get enough. 3 hours might seem like but this is a tremendous film and well worth the time if you like character study pieces. One of the greatest bank heists scenes ever as well!

Robert de Niro and Al Pachino are absolutely great in this film. The chemistry and the respect they give each other while one fights for the law and the other opposes it is just incredible to watch.

Excellent picture and sound quality for the best car chase in all of history!!! Great extra material too! Can’t beat blu-ray and the Best Buy price! Curbside pickup was fast!!!

Pacino, De Niro. What else needs to be said. One of the most exciting and thrilling shootouts ever! A masterpiece. A classic. will not disapoint.

Heat will stand the test of time as one of the greatest films ever made. Its influence is still felt today in The Dark Knight and Skyfall! Michael Mann is a titan behind the camera.

Always liked the Movie Heat. This BR released in 2017 has improved transfer and " new restoration overseen by Michael Man" according to FOX. Also a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track is included. Great movie, great price.

Heat has always been a favorite of mine since it first came out on film. The characters and the plot line are excellent. Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro on the same screen-enough said. Both of these actors are why this movie has endured.
