Movie plot was good, nice sentiments, some parts were too religious which made me change from 4-stars to 3-stars. Definitely worth watching once

The movie had a great story line that could have been presented in a better fashion. This is not a BestBuy issue but a movie making issue.

Entertaining movie overall. There's a little cheese here and there, but a nice watch for the entire family to see all together.

I found this movie quite disappointing. It had a very weak spiritual message. I never read the book and, I don't know how closely it follows the boys account. There is no mention of salvation or Gods grace through Jesus. Some of the main characters who are leaders of the church seem to be clueless as well. If you are looking for a movie that is deeper and entertaining i recommend seeing "God's not Dead "

The topic was good. The movie moved along slowly and you have a tendency to get disengaged. It was certainly interesting.

The Movie version does not do the book any justice. Important parts of the book are left out, why??? reads the book also.

The movie should have focused on the child, not the father. The child received a wonderful gift. The father was a jerk.

It left you wanting more than was shown. You wanted to hear more about the dead son and others he may have spoke to. .

Although it didn't really follow the book but still a good stand alone movie. I still like the book better.
