    This movie was ahead of its time as far as the cinematography goes and it has an all star soundtrack as well.

    Early Sci-Fi/Fantasy Animation, as numerous short stories, for adults (from 1981) that holds up well, even with its now-dated look. Music that is now classic.

    Heavy Metal was one of the original rock and roll animated movies and was way ahead of it's time.
