It been a long time since I’ve seen this movie. If I remember it as part with Richard Corben’s art. One of my favorite artist.

Although it is Blue-ray, I think they forget to upgrade the quality. Still a great movie for what it was.

A very confusing story revolving around an orb, but decently animated and paced. A definitely adult animation with a lot of interesting things going on.

A lot of hype surrounded this movie many years ago. I’d never seen it so I picked it up while it was on sale. Cartoon boobs... if you like those, you will like this movie.

Thank god this was a buy one get one free movie. This was awful. It was a descent update of the quality just forgot why I just didn’t like it

Very weirdly animated movie. I had trouble even following it. I was expecting it to be much better honestly.

I enjoyed the music, but I wasn’t a big fan of this movie. I wish I would’ve seen it when I was a kid because then I could appreciate it more.

This was not rock n' roll nor was it animation, it was a mess. I had no preconceived notions about "Heavy Metal" and bought it based on the synopsis...worst $4 spent.

Being I collected the HM mags in the 80's, I've owned this movie on every format it was released on. I must say the picture quality on this blu ray is the best it has ever looked. Granted it could use some "real" restoration to make it a fabulous release, but guessing if the studios didn't think it would sell a whole lot of copies then it wasn't going to remaster it much..Audio quality rocks. I cranked up my home theater system and the sound track was awesome. A must own for any fan of the movie!!

The movie intself and the story line is awesome. Heavy Metal was a comic book magazine back in the 1980's. This movie had an excellent soundtrack and was a Midnight Movie Hit. Saddly, the upgrades on Blu-Ray are no better than the Super-Bit DVD. I supposed the film quality could not be improved much, but I figured a comic film could have some substantial Video restorations. if you have the Superbit DTS DVD, no need to buy the Blu-Ray. You will be disappointed.

If you like '80s rock, check this out. Not kid friendly.

Great revival of the old classic. A must watch for any graphic novel fan.
