I have been a fan of this movie for many years. This Blu-ray version is well done especially considering that the source material is from the early 1980s. the special features and commentary are enlightening.

Cutting Edge animation for its time beautiful and huge stars that weren't huge Stars at the time it is so fun to watch it is for adults

This animated movie is accompanied by a great sound track. Various artist were used in the telling of the story. For people that love rock'n'roll and anime it is a great addition to your collection.

My husband loves it we had it before but out house burnt down from hurricane zeta and we are trying to replace all of our movies.

Is not the animation or the story that drew me in. Not really nostalgia either..but I really like it. Oh I know why. Cuz I was smoking. jk You don't need to smoke to enjoy this trippy animation. By the way, if you didn't get the hint from the cover, this is for adults only.

This movie is like going on a journey, a journey that you never knew you were going on and that made you question your own existence. Would recommend.

What can u say about this film? Even though dated, the animation is awesome! The stories are awesome! And the music is awesome!! They don't make 'em like they used to! Def not for the kiddies!!

If you're a fan of the Heavy Metal magazine then you know that this is a must for you. I will however say that this is not a comic for children for those that do not know about the Graphic novel/comic.

40 years old and still holds up well. True Metal fantasy with a killer soundtrack. Loaded with a ton of bonus content.

best buy has a lot of movies you wouldn't expect, and for decent prices, its worth the time to look through the website, you might just find gem like this 1980's animated movie (not for children)

I had to buy this movie. I remember watching this movie when I was in my teens and I was hooked with the animation and music.

The movie itself is more of an experience than a plot-driven story. The sound and picture quality definitely shines on the Blu Ray remastering and is worth giving a look for such a low price.

its like watching a whole new movie for the first time. All the dark scenes that were rough and not visible are now fresh and vivid.
