Great action crime thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Acting by Jeff Bridges and Chris Pine were fabulous in how the Texas Ranger goes after the man trying to save his Family’s land.

Both Jeff Bridges and Chris Pine deliver outstanding performances backed by a strong supporting cast. The sheriff role is just the kind of role that Bridges really nails. The story shows how people can react when pushed to the edge and need to find a way to survive.

If you haven't seen this moving, elegiac, and exciting film--just pick up the Blu Ray now! A clever and timely screenplay, beautiful cinematography, and memorable performances by a charismatic cast.

I really enjoyed this one. It may not be for a wide audience because it tries to do things differently than most films of this subject but I found it very interesting. And it has Jeff Bridges in it which is always a plus.

I was interested after all the glowing reviews. The movie was very well acted and executed and the characters were very distinct. A very solid movie. However, I don't know if everyone would be satisfied with the ending, although I am sure it ends that way for a purpose, I would think to go with the theme of how incomplete and imperfect life can be and how things we do can haunt us etc.

Chris pine and Ben foster are pitch perfect as Texan brothers robbing banks to get what’s owed to them and break the generational cycle of being poor. Jeff bridges chews up the scenery as the old sheriff on his last ride to take them down

The movie is great. Great performances all around. The steelbook is great. Comes with a plastic slipcover over it that is part of the art.

One of my favorite films. Anything Taylor Sheridan has written or directed has been amazing. Glad they gave this a steelbook release.

Great movie that portrays a really dark chapter in Texas banking history, thankfully long gone. The acting is over the top great!

This is awesome and soul crushing at the same time. All the characters are human and their human mistakes and sometimes their own caring for others causes their downfalls. Really well acted, written and directed.

A mans last hurrah to stick it to the man. Brothers decide to take back their moms land that the bank is about to repossess by robbing said banks. Hot on their trail are two Texas rangers try to stop them. Excellent flick even if the crescendo is a bummer.

Talk about a sleeper hit of a movie! A few months back, this film came out in theaters and stayed for months. I watched this almost by accident and was thoroughly entertained. It deserved it's academy award nominations since this is a movie worth rewatching.

One of the best western thrillers to come along in years, with a great disc that handles all the action, drama and thrills with ease and high marks in audio and video. Jeff Bridges gives one of his absolute best performances. Highly recommended!

Although I liked virtually all of the 2017 Academy Awards Best Picture nominees, this is one of only a few I wanted to own to watch again in the future. This purchase adds it to my collection. Great character development and good story.

Hopefully people have heard the hype about this Oscar nominated film. The cast and story is great. Chris Pine shows he has skills beyond Star Trek. The Blu Ray transfer looks very good. Sharp detail, poppy colors and great sound for viewers.

Really liked this movie. Was a gem amongst cookie cutter productions of late. Not an edge of your seat thriller, just a good story that is well acted and worth the watch. Pine and Foster did Finest Hours and work well together, but the addition of Jeff Bridges put this movie over the hump. Remember the days when good movies had a story? This one goes back to reminisce.

Saw this film at the theater and enjoyed it so much. Knew others would want to see it, so bought it. Full of action and could empathize with their situation. Chris Pine, Ben Foster, Jeff Bridges and Gil Birmingham were perfectly cast as the main characters.

REALLY surprised this movie hasn't gotten as much attention as it deserves. Great movie if you liked Heat or No Country for Old Men. One of those slow burn type of movies but well worth the $5

A gripping tale about two brothers on the lam after a string of robberies, one that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. While not the best film to showcase with 4K UHD (it was shot at a lower resolution & does not include a Dolby Atmos track despite saying so on the box), it is still worth the upgrade if you can grab it on sale.

Lionsgate continues killing it with this terrific steelbook. One of the best movies in the last 10 years in a great package for $20, awesome.
