Does the world really need another franchise movie like Fate and Furious or another superhero movie? NO! What we need is more movies like HeII or High Water. The writing, acting and directing are superb. While Jeff Bridges was, as always, wonderful, but I was even more impressed by Chris Pine, Ben Foster and especially Gil Birmingham. I've never watched the Twilight films, where he plays Billy Black, so I wasn't familiar with him. He was wonderful as Bridges long suffering partner. For parents, I think this got an R rating just because its target audience is adults. I don't remember any language that was especially offensive and while there is violence, there is no real gore. It certainly has an emotional impact though. I doubt kids 13 and under would have any interest, but mature 14+ teens will probably appreciate it. It had a low budget by Hollywood stands and did okay at the box office, but I wouldn't be surprised if HeII or High Water has a second life on DVD, cable and streaming. It's just that good.

Good action and story from beginning to end with a great cast

Looking forward to this movie judging by the preview alone. It, did not disappoint. Acting was top notch. Jeff Bridges and Gil Birmingham where perfect together. Ben Foster and Chris Pine really made it seem like they where really brothers. Direction and writing where also top notch. There is something about that part of the country that always seems to have good movies made about it. A lot of the classic westerns where shot there, along with Sicario and No Country for Old Men. It's a DVD that will be a welcome addition to my collection

This one flew under the radar when it was released making I think the most criminally underrated movie of the year. The story is fast-paced and well worth the time to watch. Keep an eye out for this during awards season as I don't think it will get overlooked come February. An absolute must-see!!

My favorite movie of 2016. Was excited to see it in the theater and even more excited to watch it again after that. It is definitely a slow burn type of movie with a surprising amount of humor. Characters are fantastic in this as well.

One of the best films of the year is presented here on a Blu-ray with top mark video and audio. Features are a bit on the light side (no commentary) but overall, great package at a great price!

Jeff Bridges and Ben Foster deliver good performances. The surprise of the film is Chris Pine. Pine is the reason to see this film.
