Ron Perlman is great as Hellboy and del Toro does a great job of bringing the Mike Mignola comics vibe to the movie. I've had the DVD for a long time and broke down to get the Blu-Ray. Loved it again.

Crazy mind-bending film. Blu-ray looks insane on Oled upscaled to 4k. Love it!!!

I like this movie the first time I watched it but I had it in DVD. They come out with part II and III. This movie is very unique and I definitely will recommend it.

The og hellboy is the best of the hellboy series. Didn’t care too much about the newer reboot. Great pic quality as well as sound.

Really glad I got this movie in 4k! Even some of the computer effects is a little dated, the practical effects and make-up is really detailed from this 4k.

Hellboy was the perfect project for Del Toro, and I believe he found his muse in Ron Pearlman who was BORN to play this role. The casting is perfect, the action and story is great. A fantastic BluRay

The 4k transfer is a masterwork from Sony. Great improvements in picture and audio quality over the Blu-ray version. For fans of the series this is a must buy.

The movie is pretty solid and a little weird but in a good way. You feel the characters and the movie is entertaining and makes you feel the story very much. Too bad this first part is the best of the 2 Hellboy movies that came out. Stick to this one, watch the second one but don't expect to feel surprise by it like in the 1st movie.

The original two sequels are way better than the reboot with Ron Perlman as hellboy will always be the original hellboy

I’m happy that it came with two discs. The art could be better though. There are a lot of artists who have done amazing things with Hellboy. Any one of them would have sold their creations for this.

I got it because I like Del Toro movies and because there was a "buy one - get one free" promotion going on. The movie was surprisingly good. Ron Perlman chewing scenery; pretty decent special effects; and fast pacing - you don't need much more from a comic book movie. I wouldn't pay a top price for this film, but it is fun to watch.

It certainly takes some creative license from source material, but this is a fun movie to watch and it's held up well from a visual standpoint!

I really, really enjoyed Hellboy and it looks great on Blu-ray. And regarding the steelbook, it's nothing too fancy, but it looks good and is a great addition to any steelbook collection.
