I recently purchased a New Samsung Q90T 65" (2020) Q-LED TV and matching Q950T Samsung Soundbar and 4K UHD Blu-ray Player and wanted to purchase a few really good 4K UHD Movies to show off the picture and ATMOS surround audio. This DVD does not disappoint. Great movie with plenty of action scenes with very good Surround sound. And I got it on sale! Better than going to the Movies, especially now since COVID-19.

Hellboy 2 is not a great film but it is still a solid and engaging one. To look at clips or still though, you would expect so much more because visually it is wonderfully designed in the creatures and sets that are throughout, but this imagination and creativity is lacking in other aspects such as characters, script and plotting. It never bored me or made me hate it but at the same time it never really excited or engaged me as a total film. Almost worth seeing just for the visual extravagance of it but disappointing for the rest of it being rather ordinary by comparison.

What's not love? There are so many great fantastic creatures packed in one movie with solid action all over the place!! My personal favorite is Prince Nuada with killer sward skill and sister complex. Goblin Market is another place I wish that was real place other than Diagon Alley.Tree god and what's up with Johann Krauss ? Too bad not so many people even know about this gem. Which is typical treatment for Del Toro's movies by regular movie goers... Sigh. But I love it to the death !!

Not satisfied with having painted Ron Perlman red once, Guillermo Del Toro breaks out his paint brush and does it again, this time in 4K! If you turn up the volume to the 75+ range, you can hear Guillermo's sick and twisted giggling as he takes perverse pleasure at watching Ron Perlman strut around half-baked, painted red, with two horn stumps, and a hand encased in a cinder block. This man must be stopped or he might make a movie where he giggles off screen as a woman falls in love with a naked creature from the black lagoon.

Movie was average and maybe below average. The audio and video was so so with the story and acting not very good. Compared to other hellboy videos this was average viewing.

If you like Hellboy then you will like this movie. Could have been better. Ron Perlman always delivers though. Bought it to complete my Hellboy steelbook collection.

Loved this movie from day one I had to get this one so it can be seen with the best quality. If you are a fan of Guillermo del Toro then you know you are getting alot of incredible creations/monsters that have Del Toro's signature. I wish the whole cast from the last movie was here but it doesn't take anything away from it.

The special effects were pretty neat. Too bad they never finished the trilogy. However, it did seem to be a little bit all over the place with the story-line.

Got the 4K UHD Blu-ray/Blu-ray + digital code for a great price. Got the 4K UHD Blu-ray to replace the standard Blu-ray I already owned. I also get to upgrade my HD digital copy to 4K UHD in my digital library.

I liked this 1 better then the 1st but I am really looking forward to the remake! This had nice graphics and story and is fun for kids also.

This was ok, I love Ron as Hellboy. But I felt they could have written a better story for the character. And had a better villain.

Guillermo del Toro follows up his dark comic book adventure with a journey into territories blending the world of Hellboy with the fantastical worlds he himself has created. Fans of PAN'S LABYRINTH will feel like they're taking a trip into areas familiar to them through a dream-like connection. In some ways, I liked this sequel better than HELLBOY because it felt like a blending of two very creative minds more so than simply translating a story from one medium into another.

A few sequels are done rightly as is in the case of Hellboy II. In my opinion owning the first title isn't necessary to fully enjoy this movie. Having said so if you own the first movie, then this second title should be part of your collection as well. I cannot wait for the steelbook version of this blue ray disk.

I liked this movie more than the first Hellboy movie. Both are great movies. The second one has more horror elements and more of Del Toros signature creepy creatures. There's also more action and fighting, and also, surprisingly, more humor. I like both movies, but this one is my favorite.

I have been a Hellboy fan since the first movie and this one is one of the best movies from the director. The visuals and consistency of the writing are very solid, I recommend getting into the franchise from the comics to the movies.

The studio did a great job converting Hellboy II: The Golden Armying over to 4K. The movie looks sharp, crisp and has great color throughout. This one is worth the upgrade to 4K. The movie itself is a good comic book movie.

Different era of comic book films, the practical effects (as much as possible) in this film will stand the test of time like some 80s makeup and costume effects did before it.

Great sequel to the original and wish we would have got the final movie in this planned trilogy then a reboot piece of garbage. Good pictire and sound quality for the UHD disc and digital code worked great.

One of the instances where the sequel outdoes the original in every way. It's a shame we never got a follow-up to this movie, as it clearly sets up for a third. If you're a fan of weird, fantasy action, I recommend this film.

Picture looks better on this sequel than the original. Hellboy 2 had a bigger budget and the look was closer to a comic book. This helps for the 4k release. The film looks fantastic and still looks like it was shot on 35mm film.
