The Digital Copy of the MOVIE WAS EXPIRED! I could not redeem it. Isn't that false advertising?

Not as good as the first Hellboy comic adaptation.

Not as good as the first, but still worth watching.

Second installment of a tragic self imploding movie... Was interesting in beginning but got lamer as it went along... Basically you should have watched Beethoven's 5th..would have been better...

Another good movie came in very bad condition which scratches loose disc and scratches on the disc

I'm a "Hellboy" fan and a Ron Perlman fan. Love the first movie. Was skeptical about the second one. Went and bought it without renting it first. Was worried I'd be stuck with a dvd I didn't like. The movie surprised me, I loved it, just as much as the first one, if not more. I love the fact that Ron Perlman does his own stunts, it's all him. That tells me he cares enough about the fans to make the portayal of his character appear more realistic and believable on screen. I loved just about everything in this movie except for the scene where Hellboy and Abe sing to a Barry Manilow song: "Can't Smile Without You". Even though it's funny, I think it was shot way too long and they could've left it out. Even though Liz looked tougher in this movie, I like her with longer hair and a more femine side. I watched all the extra features after I watched the movie. Very interesting how they do everything. Especially the makeup, costumes and the puppeteering. Amazing what people can come up with. For example: The Troll Market. So wild., everywhere you look, you see something new and different. I was glad they didn't make them look like they belonged in "Star Wars". I was really impressed with the "Angel Of Death". Looking back, I think that character stood out to me the most. Looked so real. I was disappointed that they didn't have any outtakes. I love watching those.

The SteelBook is beautiful; a matte finish. The movie isnt as strong as the first one but still enjoyable.

Overall, I thought this movie was pretty good. It's different than other movies so it kept me on the edge of my seat all throughout the movie. I like how they pictured elves to look like what they should and still have the slow aging background of that race. I have a real soft spot when there are elves in movies though so my opinion might be a little biased. The one thing I didn't really like was the caretaker guy was annoying and it was hard to tell if it was bad acting or if he really acted and spoke that way, which makes it really good acting in my books. This movie might be a good purchase as I could see myself watching this movie again in the near future.

Hellboy 2 was a great movie. It had a lot of action in it, and the story starts right away. It was definately humorous and there were lots of things dropped that sound like a third movie might be in the possible future, and hopefully del Toro decides to do it if there is. Del Toro should definately be praised on the cinematography, because this was some beautiful work and some of the creatures were absolutely remarkable. My only complaint would be that the character moments that helped make the first movie so enjoyable (mainly the Hellboy moments) weren't there as much. The movie almost seemed like an Abe Sapien movie in a way. Although there were some funny scenes between characters, the wittiness and comedy of Hellboy from the first movie didn't have the same impact that it did in this film. Otherwise, I definately think this movie should be checked out.

Hello. This is my first time doing a review 4 a movie, I have both hellboy and hellboy 2 on blu-ray. If you loved hellboy then hellboy 2 is a must buy 4 blu-ray. The blu-ray disc shows off the visual effects and sound is amazing. The picture quality makes this movie come alive. This movie is very entertaining and funny. This was hands down a very well put sequel. This movie surpasses any movie in my collection. It makes the new Hulk look like the first one. If you havn't watched hellboy or hellboy 2, you're missing a best buy to put in your collection.

If you liked Hellboy or enjoy Guillermo Del Toro's other movies, then you will probably love this movie. It has the same sort of visual feel as Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy, but of course it more pulpy and sort of noir than Pan's Labyrinth. Very great sequel you can tell that this was bigger budget just because some of the scences felt massive and very well polished.

I absolutely loved this movie! This is a must on BLU RAY. The graphics and action is amazing! Crystal clear. The story line was great. I'm not going to spoil anything for you on the story. But I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Sad, Funny, Action Packed all in one. BUY IT!!!!!

I haven't seen 2004's H. Boy, but in my opinion you don't need to see 2004's H. Boy to appreciate H. Boy II: The Golden Army, because its that great of a movie. But in all fairness I am going to see 2004's H. Boy to truly say that I am indeed a fan. P.S. I don't think h*ll is a profane word :-P Your's truly, Skoop

Hellboy 2 is a good combination of the action, adventure and comedy that was present in the first film. The characters in the film each have their quirks that endear themselves to the audience. Of course, some may complain about its cartoonish nature, but then that's the point. It is a fantasy film that is supposed to give a larger than life feel.

Hellboy is back and is kicking butts and taking names! With the enemies stronger and there seem to be a lot more Hellboy is up to the task of saving the world! With action, drama, comedy and a little love story on the side this movie delivers!

Let me start out with the best part of the movie, the boss scene is sooooooooooo much better than the original Hellboy where he just kills the dam thing the end. I really thought the ending of the last one prevented the making of another one, but unfortunately I was wrong. The boss fight in this movie was actually worth watching. I like the character hellboy because he looks pretty raw and his attitude gives him an edge that appeals to older teens and young adults, but for the rest of the characters they look like they were taken out of the children's movie pan's labyrinth and I really didn't have a choice whether I saw this movie or not and was dragged to the movie theater. This movie is just too "kiddy" and if it wasn't for Hellboy it would be rated PG. I wouldn't accept this movie if it were free.

Excellent film It captures Hellboy in his best, and I love the trolls and the tumor that looks like a baby. Yet now Im hoping for more, I would like to see how Hellboy dose with his twins...

Overlooked by Iron Man and The Dark Knight this is one of the best movies of the summer the story was great and the only bad thing about it was the begining when they showed hellboy as a boy.
