After seeing a preview for Hello, My Name is Doris on a different DVD, I was happy to see it available at a good price. The movie did not let down the impression we got from the preview! Sally Field does a tremendous job acting as a quirky, hoarding woman, making her way through life, only to find a younger man that motivates her to change her ways. The scene where her family comes to help her declutter her house, and she flips out was so perfectly portrayed! I believed she was a hoarder and had emotional attachment to the items others saw as trash. It is a perfect date night movie, enjoy!

and looking in an older woman trying to work into younger peoples lives and is having the time of her life and my good song to her that she's acting stupid or strange. She rocked in our raise with her mother ever since her father died and now she wants to get out of app and live I think it would be a great day for a family or the husband wife with friends movie anyway I think it's hoot. I hope you enjoy the movie the bill

I absolutely loved this movie, even enough to consider it one of my Top 10 favorites! Sally Field is phenomenal in this film as she has a character unlike any I've seen her do in the past. Pair that with Tyne Daily and you have a hit! If Sally isn't nominated for this film, I will be thoroughly shocked!

Ms. Fields continues to demonstrate why she is one of our best actresses, comparable to Meryl Streep but without the accents...She has the ability to expose truths through just her eyes. This story comes very close to personal experience so is completely believable and a teachable moment.

A cougar film for the first gen baby boomers. Not as many laughs as one would hope, but it's a mature perspective on cougar relationships. Sally Field is believable and engaging. Not a classic but definitely worth seeing

My mom LOVED this movie. She went to see it with her sister and she talked about this movie for months. I just bought her this Blu-ray for her birthday, and we finally sat down to watch it as a family together. Pretty cool film. Sally Field is great as always. Highly recommended.

Went to see the movie for Sally Field. Ended up enjoying Tyne Daly and Max Greenfield, too. Tried to avoid laughing at Sally's antics but I don't believe I was laughing at her.

A Five for Sally Fields. You knew from the start that this journey would not end well; and even though there was heartbreak there was so much growth and confidence in a life that had not been lived to its fullest.

This is a great show and well worth the money, my wife and I loved it. We did not get anything else due to the store being moved around, lost a refrigerator and camera sale due to moving things around again.

Enjoyed this movie with great acting by Sally. Anyone who enjoys a sweet movie will like this. Humor and tenderness! Loved the commentary. The best thing about DVDs is the ability to have commentaries.

Like the character of Doris herself, the movie is sweet and all around likeable. Hope people give this almost hidden gem a chance!

I finally broke down and bought the dvd because I missed this at the theater. Sally did a good job and I had to empathize with her on several levels. Not too believable, but it was enjoyable.
