Plenty of action with a very different spin on the Hercules legend, but it is not a movie that I want to see again.

The plot was so interesting that it lulled me to sleep 3 times in the same day. I'd pass on this one.

As much as we like Dwayne Johnson this very short movie left a lot to be desired for.

This movie Hercules was awful. It was my fault for not reading the reviews first before buying. I had low expectations going in so I wouldn't be that disappointed, but to my surprise it was worse. At least the 3D was decent.

This is one of those movies that if I had to do it again I would wait for it to come on TV & then wait until nothing better was on.

I expected this movie to be more like other supr hero movies and it was not at all very violent more than anticipated.

The legend of Hercules + Hercules = Awesome! The movie did well by introducing the legend of hercules through his companions. The fictitious use of story telling to build the legend, I believe, is the unique touch of finesse that this film offers. Through this very medium and a hint of theatrics the myestery behind the legend is revealed as the storyline unfolds. The movie is filled with suspense, drama, laughter, action, war strategy, leadership and a spice of character growth (namely, Hercules overcoming the burden he bore for the loss of his family). The concept of the film to to bring to hardship and accomplishments of hercules was achieved. What I did not like was how the story was unfold. Take for example the camp fire gathering scene. That scene was expected to explore character development of each character to substitute for the lack of depth not provided in the earlier scenes of the movie. That doesn't cut it for me. Although the use of story telling had its positives, the draw back of the present story was not properly exploited. The final disappointment was the poor use of Irina Shayk, Hercules wife. Not good enough for me. If her modeling contract doesn't allow her to do risky scenes to combine to collage of scenes to make a better the movie; then USE SOME ONE ELSE!!! Collectively the pros and cons combined to provide a 3 for me. There was more room for improvement.
