For me HERCULES is one of my TOP TEN "MUST SEE" movies of 2014. The Amazing action that only Dwane Johnson can deliver. The son of SEUS story was easy to understand, the characters deliver a great caliber performance. Maybe strong for small children"s. THE SPECIAL EFFECT ARE INCREDIBLE!!! THE ACTION FIGHT SCENES ARE TOP!!! IF YOU HAVE A 3D LIKE ME YOU WILL LOVE IT EVEN MORE!!!

I say questionable mainly because of the story line and language used. They constantly try to cast doubt that Hercules may, or not, be the son of Zeus and that the labors he had to complete, may, or not, be true. So, that was a little different. As far as language, I seriously doubt they used modern words and phrases during that time period, so that was off. Overall, it was an entertaining movie and I would watch it again.

A great twist on the Hercules myth. It is more important on the perception of your reputation than the actual reputation. Hercules and his band of mercenaries take a job to defend a corrupt kingdom. They are double crossed and work to correct the situation. Many interesting perceptions (i.e. perception of a boy to the legend of Hercules). Teamwork is stressed and the chemistry between the characters is EXCELLENT, if not magical. Pacing of the movie can be quickened, but good story line. Recommended especially if you like ancient folklore.

I did not expect the 3D on this to be as effective as it was. It certainly enhances the movie and is a recommended way to watch this. This renidition of Herc has him as a mercenary, and not a demi-god. If you can put pre-conceptions aside, there's a lot to like here. Great production design and action sequences, especially in 3D (for which I added an extra star)..

I think this is one of the best Hercules movies out there. My other top Hercules movie is The Legend of Hercules with Kellan Lutz as Hercules. I was not overly happy with the 3D version and would recommend going with the Blu-ray. I have not watched The Legend of Hercules in 3D yet, but I hope it handles 3D better than this one did.

Having endured his legendary twelve labors, Hercules, the Greek demigod, has his life as a sword-for-hire tested when the King of Thrace and his daughter seek his aid in defeating a tyrannical warlord. this might have been better if the "rock" had stayed in character.

I have heard this movie was really decent I have not had time to watch it myself. I have heard from a few friends and looked at online reviews were mixed but a better Hercules movie than some of the others that were made.

this version of hercules is the best version about the legend of hercules so if you want to see a good movie about hercules i would check this movie out bc it has alot of action and humor in and the rock plays hercules very well so check this movie out bc you won't regret it

I found this movie exceeded my expectations. Lots of action plus a good amount of character chemistry and a little bit of humor to boot.

Different slant on the Hercules legend with The Rock delivering a better than expected performance in the title role.

Dwayne Johnson is on a hot streak lately. I am enjoying everything he is putting out!

Great action. Story evolved without any gaps or unnecessary scenes or subplots. Dwayne Johnson owned this role and was fabulous. Great cinematography. Loved this movie.

If you're a fan of The Rock and great action then pick up this movie. I recommend getting the Best Buy exclusive w/ extra disc w/ bonus features.

The Rock made this film; and this film was made for him. I have several Hercules movies, but I love this one the best.

If you dont take this movie seriously and are just here for BA action, you will love it
