I enjoy these kinds of movies, where they show how the myth could have originated.

The movie is excellent entertainment. The Rock is his normal leading man with plenty of action and CG. It's not the best Rock action movie but worth viewing and eating popcorn while doing so.

The concept is interesting but the movie fell flat to me. It seems like some of the action suffered due to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson getting injured during filming.

There was some good action in the movie but the acting was not that good. Not very historically accurate.

Paramount releases have always been top notch in picture quality and sound and this movie is not exception. Unfortunately, the storyline fails miserably here. If you want to watch this movie, rent it.

Was this an action adventure film? The entire thing seemed like one long exposition of what Hercules was supposed to be, a demigod, but had very little in it of him actually doing anything. Added to this silly looking effects and you'll wonder why they bothered.
