Good movie if you like weird drama/suspense type movies

This is not for fans of recent PG-13 grab and stab fare. Hereditary takes it time to build atmosphere and foreboding before going nuts in the last 20 minutes. Very effective disturbing horror.

I thought this movie was good but I expected a lot more based on all of the buzz and positive reviews. I didn't think it was any better or more scary than any other above average horror movie.

Good movie if you are trying to get scared on a rainy day

Wow! This movie blew me away. I wasn't expecting to like the movie as much as I did because I thought it started kinda slow but I stuck with it and was well rewarded. If you like horror I think you will love this movie.

I was hesitant to watch this, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was very unsettling and blown away by just how disturbing a horror movie can be. Takes me back to the first time I saw the Exorcist.

Great movie, 4k is stunning. Audio is pretty good too.

one of my best favorite scary movies to watch good

It was definitely a great look into someone slowly losing their mind but the supernatural part was difficult to understand. This was also a little hard to follow because you don't know if what is happening is real or just in their heads. I think the movie does to ad to the tension and drama happening in this family. So as a horror movie it succeeds in scaring. I don't really care for horror but I can appreciate it. I probably wouldn't recommend it just for that reason but if I knew that person liked horror then I would end up recommending it.

Easily one of the creepiest movies in the last many years. Collete's performance is Oscar-worthy, the atmosphere is amazing, and it's brutal in both it's emotional punch as well as it's graphic visuals.

This is one of the most divisive movies to come out in recent years. People whose opinions I respect think it's brilliant. People whose opinions I respect HATE it. I love it and think it's brilliant.
