My son loves it he don’t wanna ride in the car he wanna ride everywhere

Great scooter, good miles, excellent horsepower when going uphill. Especially with 2 people definitely(265lbs) 65lbs over Capacity;definitely recommend this too. Anyone who likes to ha e Fun!

HiBoy: Major defects. 100% regrets. TLDR; defective motor, got part, then internals melted. We invoked our Geek Squad warranty and switched to Segway. We would've posted a negative review regardless of incentive. If you insist on going with HiBoy because it's affordable: 1. Get the Best Buy Geek Squad warranty! Or, buy another scooter brand after checking you can actually reach customer service at the phone number. 2. Don't toss out your box or its packing materials while the manufacturer warranty is active. 3. HiBoy's Customer Service is primarily email. They use the same name on all emails, will not always read the content, etc. They will replace defective parts (read HiBoy reviews for how frequent this occurs). Our Story: Purchased as a gift in December 2024 with a Best Buy warranty. It was brought inside during cold weather so the battery wouldn't be damaged. ApproxMarch 2025 it started making a bad clicking sound. After supplying proof of purchase, photos,and video, then HiBoy stated it was a defective motor and sent a new motor with links to the instructions. After the motor was replaced it kept making clicking noises but worked better. In May 2025 on a ride home the scooter -- while it had ample battery life -- started losing power even though the speed read 19 mph. It came to a dead stop and flashed an E7 error. E7 = unusable / paperweight. HiBoy sent us a label to return it, and we regretted throwing out the box after the motor fix. HiBoy uses FedEx. HiBoy gave a caveat about how they weren't responsible for damage in shipping, and specifically mentioned water damage on. Check other reviewers who did send the scooter back and what happened. ** If you need to return the scooter to HiBoy, and proceed with it, ask FedEx if it's insured for FULL replacement value and pay for the insurance if it isn't. Ask FedEx to explain to you it will work if a claim is needed. Take photos of how the interior is packaged -- including wrapping the scooter in plastic -- prior to sealing the box. We discovered that anything with a lithium battery needs to be taken to a FedEx Hub. We called ahead to the hub and the Dangerous Goods team wouldn't accept our scooter to be shipped because it has both a lithium battery and an electrical issue. They had us send a photo to HiBoy of the melted electrical components inside and that FedEx wouldn't accept the package because it's a fire hazard. HiBoy's response? To not read the email at all -- can tell from the name they used and the instructions. That continued to be the case after we pushed back repeatedly that FedEx wouldn't allow us to ship it. We tried calling HiBoy repeatedly. It would ring with no voicemail outside of business hours. During business hours we were never able to get through. We finally gave up. We weren't going to take on financial liability for violating FedEx's decision, and we'd read reviews about people who'd tried to return to HiBoy, so we called Best Buy, and made a Geek Squad appointment. We brought the item in, and chose a store credit. A family member checked Segway's customer service so we upgraded to Segway. ** This entire review is strictly opinion. And it would've been posted regardless of any incentive. **

I love it. It’s very convenient and useful for everyday commute. The one downside is that it doesn’t support a lot of weight so that can become a challenge but otherwise it’s fantastic.

I use App to lock my e-scooter on the street, I think it is safe for that, but that’s wrong, I saw my e-scooter is stolen today, the App lock is nothing, don’t believe it, I love this e-scooter, I am so sad.

It’s good and all but it came with the nut off on the front right axel. Wheel came loose caused me to crashed and hurt my knee pretty bad. Hiboy told me to pack sand when I let them and told me oh well. Damaged some parts and my handle bar grip got ripped up.

I gave this e-scooter a 4 star because it's my first e-type of motorized transport. I like the speed and range. After I charged it, I traveled 3 miles to a community block party and used to travel around the different booths and went back home. No issues with battery life nor the speed. It's not flimsy where I feel the scooter could fall apart if I hit a bump on the sidewalk. It feels durable, like it can handle some bumpy sidewalks. I like that it folds down and I can carry it inside of a store. I use it to make quick trips nearby shops and eateries, don't need to burn up gas to go 4 miles down the street. I hope this is the only e-scooter I buy.

I wanted something basic with enough power for hills, and it's been getting the job done for a couple of months. I don't have a lot of experience here, it has been a great value. The selling point for me was the easy availability of parts from the manufacturer. If something goes wrong, I want to know I'll be able to fix it. The lights are good enough that I haven't added anything on. While not the lightest, it's pretty reasonable to carry when folded if moderately strong. And it fits great on vertical bike racks so it's out of the way when storing in the office or train. I thought I wouldn't like the combined regenerative brake / disc brake, but it's pretty easy to get used to a gentle pull to charge the battery. I have one long, very steep hill, and it can't maintain full speed but never stops and motor hasn't burned out. It's not the most comfortable ride, but at least I never have to worry about flats. The only modification I needed was mounting a u-lock to the stem.

I upgraded to the HiBoy KS4 Pro for my son after starting with the GoTrax, and the difference is immediately noticeable. This scooter feels sturdier, rides smoother, and has way more zip, making it a much more fun and capable option—especially for older kids or teens. The 25-mile range is great for longer rides, and the build inspires a lot more confidence at higher speeds. I still use the GoTrax for casual rides around the neighborhood with him, but the KS4 Pro is clearly a step up in both performance and overall experience.

’m very impressed with this product. The quality is excellent, the value for the price is outstanding, and it’s very easy to use right out of the box. Setup was simple, performance has been reliable, and it fits perfectly with my needs. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a dependable and well-designed product.

It’s an awesome scooter! Goes like 19MPH max and the battery is extremely long! It has two modes (D and S) and is very fun to ride in!

Pretty solid scooter. Battery last a good amount. Not for uphill riding as I would suggest a dual motor scooter. I like the non inflatable tires since I hate dealing with flats

Love this! Got it for my son's birthday and he is so unbelievably happy with this gift. Doesn't go too fast, holds a good charge, and looks cool. It's a little heavy, but managable where he can fold it up.

The product is well-designed and convenient to use; however, it is quite expensive. Additionally, the brake pad feels slightly loose, and the light-changing feature does not function properly. The foldable mechanism is overly tight, which resulted in an injury to my finger. Aside from these concerns, the product is highly durable and capable of supporting heavy weight effectively.

I’ve used the scooter for commute and pleasure for about 3 weeks now. I initially regretted the purchase because BB says that it has no suspension, and the rides were bumpy for me. I weigh 145lbs, the scooter felt extremly rigid and made any but of texture ten times worse, especially as I compared it to my husbands segway he had just bought. I then found out about the suspension, and that it was set for a person 165lbs, so we got a wrench and adjusted it making a world of a difference. I have yet to use the app very much, I don’t see much use for it, i think it looks a bit simple and outdated. Now the only complaint I have is the noise. The scooter has a little metal clip on the back wheel guard that is meant to hold the pole when folded but it raddles a lot when riding.
