Needed this movie in my collection. Saw this movie in the theatre and had to have it.

I worked for NASA as a contactor from 1968 to 1992 and was involved in the design of the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) that actually landed on the surface of the Moon. During all this time I never heard of the contribution of these women to the success of those missions. It's difficult to comprehend that the story of these women has been suppressed for so many years. It brings to light the contributions of a group of women in an era where women were rarely given credit for having the ability to contribute and resolve the many unknowns that that had never been dealt with in the history of mankind. Men’s lives and the success of NASA and the Apollo missions were truly dependent on what these women achieved, and yet their story had never been revealed until the release of this movie. I highly recommend this movie to add to the true history of the success of America landing a man on the moon and safely returning them to Earth.

I have worked for NASA and have heard this and other stories about NASA's past. These stories are part of the history of those that work there, where it is Langley, Cape Canaveral, Cape Kennedy, AMES, Niels Armstrong (formally Dryden), JPL, Goddard, Marshall, etc. Each of the NASA facilities have stories to share, but not all have been told. Most are focused on the airplanes or space programs. But, the best stories are the personal ones like Hidden Figures. And they need to be told. How do you find these stories? Read the NASA News of the past, talk to the employees that are or will be soon retiring, or contact the Public Affairs office. There are thousands of stories of technology and passion of the people that work there. Do you know the Dryden stories such as only Female pilot of the SR-71 (Marta Bohn-Meyer, 1990-2005), the Tire Assault Vehicle (Special to RC Modeler Magazine, Sept 1995), the Sows Ear and Silk Purse Aircraft (two F18 prototypes that changed the roll of aircraft), etc.,

A must see movie! The three women overcame more than I could ever dream of achieving.

The story itself is worth watching. Good acting. Great addition to your collection.
