Really enjoyed this historic film highlighting the experience of these three women. As a child born in the late 50's, I followed the space race and aerospace accomplishments that developed. Knew majority of the missions into space by Mercury, Gemini and the Apollo space shuttle as well as the astronauts names. However, I wasn't aware of these phenomenal three woman and the contributions they made. Glad this finally came to light!

Hidden Figures 4K UHD/ BluRay is a shot at the moon success story.

I love this movie! It is a story of three brilliant women who made their own paths at NASA and made history. It shows what happened behind the scenes of when the US launched its first American astronaut into orbit. Plus, I made this purchase because it included a digital copy, and I really enjoy the fact that I can watch it on the go.

Inspirational movie for women who want to be in math and science jobs.

Great movie, it was a great price. I would recommend any one to watch it.

Don’t know if it was historically accurate but a good watch all the same.

This movie is of stellar caliber, that brings to light great accomplishments that were once hidden. It shows the hard work and dedication against all odds. The storyline is well done, at some moments it seems rushed. As if more of a story lies in within that scene. The casting was spot on, and the actors delivered. I would most definitely recommend this movie for viewing. It tells the hidden story within Americas history.

This is a story about the people in the trenches who helped calculate the orbits for the space program at NASA while overcoming racism and sexism at the same time. These women were brilliant at a time when black women didn't do math (or full time jobs!). The acting was excellent and there was a mix of old footage to supplement the new to give a well rounded look at what went on during the time of the launches.

Hidden Figures is an excellent movie about a little known aspect of NASA history - told through a excellent script and acting. I purchased the UHD version of the film - and viewed on an HDR-enabled TV and UHD Blu-ray player - the visual result is excellent. However, whether you purchase this film on DVD, Blu-ray, or UHD Blu-ray it is a excellent viewing experience. This film should be should in school science classes.

I had no idea that these talented women were so instrumental in the space program. I grew up in the time period. Fortunately, I saw very little of the racism that existed at that time. Maybe my young age at the time didn't make me look at other people so differently. These women had to deal with the inequality so ingrained that it was normal. An outstanding movie that finally brought these important women to light.

Excellent Historical story , a must have for those who grew up with the beginning of the space age or youngsters who didn't and need to know the truth about some of the major endeavors of the U S. As a historical student and buff, I didn't know about this until the movie came out. True events as they happened are always worth keeping in your library.

Very underrated movie. Very good message. Kevin Costner was very good.

The movie shows the struggles women had in the early 60's in a male dominant society. To make things more interesting the women are black. It brought back my memories of the times because being a minority ( hispanic) I too had to drink from a water fountain for Mexicans only. Funny as a kid I snuck a taste of a whites only water fountain and the only difference was there wasn't ... aw the times ... enjoy the movie

I usually don't go to movies based on fact. After all I figure I know the ending. This is one that I had not heard of. I saw it at the movies and couldn't wait for the DVD to become available. The movie holds your interest and you learn about individuals that you know about and those you didn't. I highly recommend this movie not only for the performances but the fact it shows that girls/women can do amazing things.

I had no idea these stunning women existed. I am very glad I now know.

I bought this movie for my wife on sale and it was so inspirational.

Hidden Figures is a hidden untold treasure. Something for your collection, whether your a movie buff or not. It’s about diversity, courage, empowerment for women, equal rights and how mathematics sent a man to the moon. It’s a love story about overcoming life’s challenges. And Katherine G. Johnson the mathematician lives to be 101 in 2020.

I loved this movie. Had heard about it some time ago. What I love most is that it's based on actual events and actual people. I love seeing one of the most oppressed groups, African American Women, persevere above adversity. This movie shows, with actual events, how ignorance and apathy for others only continues to perpetuate discrimination, oppression and hate. A lesson we all need to learn.

We have all heard of Apollo 13 and the challenges that the astronauts faced in order to make it back to the earth alive. Many of us have read the history, seen the movie, and even a small number of you may have been on hand to see the history in the making. What you don't know (and this movie tells) is the full story of those that were behind making the return trip to Earth for Apollo 13 possible.

Based on real events, this is a poignant period film that follows the American space program, and the "hidden" black women who worked for NASA. It displays racial tensions that were prevalent during these times, but it only scratched the surface of what very qualified black Americans had to endure. They proved themselves invaluable and earned the respect of many. A must see film to add to your collection.
