Love the variety of formats that is included with movie. Can be played as a DVD, and you can download the digital version to your tablet, smartphone or computer. A true story that was inspiring. I was very impressed that this was a clean movie! Very minimal swearing- only Hxxx and Dxxx was said a couple of times.

Three amazingly talented actresses brilliantly portray the 3 amazing women that were crucially instrumental in getting our Astronaut(s) back from space to Earth, when no one else at NASA could. A true story played by 3 truly gifted women. Brilliant, engaging, nail-biting, funny, honest & real...a real treat!

A well done, beautifully acted and directed film about three ladies who work at NASA. I originally saw it in the theater and bought the film as soon as it came out, because I had told my folks about it until they couldn't take any more and my dad said "Fine we'll record and watch the movie, but it had better be good"

I love this movie since I bought it I watched it 3 times at different gatherings. It is such an empowering movie. Definitely recommend to show this hidden gem to young girls, because honestly I wish I knew about this story as I was growing up. I don't know what else to say but to BUY IT!!!!!!

These ladies are awesome! I couldn't wait until it was released on Blu-Ray. No one really outshines the others: Henderson, Spencer and Monae are the essential trio that brought life to unknown historical figures that deserved their recognition in American records. Add this to your library. Buy it as a gift. Just get it.

Hidden Figures tells the story of the African-American women who played such an instrumental role in the early US space program. As NASA "computers", these mathematicians and engineers solved countless problems, from orbital mechanics to computer programming. Truly a fascinating and inspirational story.

This movie is almost interesting as the book. I wish they could include everything in the book but that is not possible. So much history that we never learned in school. Very incredible woman who helped put men in space and on the moon. I RECOMMEND this movie to anyone that wants to know the rest of the story of NASA.

Watched with my college age daughter and son and they actually stayed off their phones they were so captivated by the movie. I love the bios at the end showing the actual women who the movie is centered around. Super encouraging for all young women and young men! You can do anything if you just press on!

Based on true story: I saw this movie in the movie theater and it's worth having this movie to add to my collection, to show my kids about the wonder of 'unspoken' women who were just as important as the men in the Aerospace industry (especially colored / minority / discrimination that took place) at that time.

After completing elementary, junior high school and high school in the 60's and 70's, none of this history was taught as part of the curriculum. After seeing this movie in theaters, I knew I would purchase it once it was released on DVD. You won't be disappointed with this movie. Excellent movie.

This movie is a tribute to the brilliant women who pushed us into an age of science and advancement. To top it off, they were black women in an era that was just getting past Segregation, which was portrayed starkly throughout the movie. I will be watching this on REPEAT as much as I can! I love it!

The ttue story for the NASA "Computers" is very inspiring. The characters are portrayed with realism. You realy care about all of them as you learn about the early events with manned space flight in this country. It also reveals how scientific necessity and mathematics helped eliminate racial tensions in NASA.

This was an amazing production of a true story. The acting among the three leading actresses was superb. I experienced a variety of emotions throughout the movie. This was a riveting account of the untold story of three Legendary African American Women that changed the scope of NASA's space program. Excellent!

It's great that some hidden truths about black achievements are finally getting their due. I've always enjoyed the space race as I grew up with it, and I'm always looking for new movies to tell that story. This event was touched on in a TV series, however, the movie brings this story to light in grand fashion.

Finally Their Story Gets Told...And we’re a better nation because of these brilliant women. Both an entertaining and historical adventure. A truly inspiring film, that every parent needs to view with their daughters, as it teaches the lesson of persistance and women of color’s contribution to science

This is a must see. To see what these woman went through and how they helped change the world one person at a time. It show an era that was not great for all, and these women stood in the face of that, rose above it, and left a beautiful mark on the world. It would be a great movie or anyone to see!

This film is exactly what I was hoping for! I have been in love with NASA since I was a kid and getting to see this side of history: the contribution of women specifically women of color, was just incredible. Well acted, filmed, and scored. This film is important for everyone, man, woman, and child, to see!

The story takes place during the first manned trips to space. Computers were not in wide use yet so humans did all the calculations, A group of black females who were extremely good with math were hired to do the computing. They were very good at their jobs but were still treated like second class people,

This was a really good movie and definitely enjoyed it. I tend to like true life stories and especially movie about the space program. I'm glad this story was told, and I because everyone who was a part of that story needed to have their story told, and be it white, black, and man, and woman or child

This movie is an amazing tribute to United States History, it saddens me that we didn't know about this until this movie came out. Or was I the only person who didn't know this story? Anyway, great tribute to Women in History, NASA History and African American History. I would highly recommend you watch!
