This movie is everything one would expect it to be. I love movies that show an unexplored area of history, especially one that empowers diverse groups of people. If one is looking for a great movie, that leaves one with a warm feeling, and one of respect and appreciation, this is a great movie for that.

This is a very heart warming movie. It is hard to believe that we as humans ever treated our fellow humans this way. This movie shows the history of our country in the space race, with computers, and our people. Very well done. I would recommend this movie to anyone. Especially those born after 1965

If your a person who loves movies about past true events. you will love this movie. It has action , intrigue, great acting and social significance combined into an historical event. you will be happy you added this movie to your collection.

If it wasn’t for this movie I would not have known about these historic women!! I’m a bit embarrassed that I didn’t because I’m a history fina tic! The special features are great and very informative! Plus the movie itself is incredible! Best part is that it’s a true story!!!

This movie is amazing. I love learning about historical events and this movie did not disappoint. It's amazing what people had to go through in the past because of their race and/or gender. The actresses do a phenomenal job and the events that they help create is jaw dropping.

I grew up as a kid of the '60 with the space program. Looking back now as an adult I had no idea what was required to put a man into space. This movie does a great job of showing the "brains" behind the space program. A very entertaining movie based on historical facts. We all enjoyed it very much!

This movie is great! My husband and I enjoy watching this movie over and over again. The g-kids love it as well so do my grown kids. We all have watched it together. We also use it for education purposes with the g-kids and they still enjoy it.

This movie is about three African-American women who played very important parts in the early NASA space program. It is well acted and sheds light on real events in our history. Such a good movie that I felt compelled to learn more about these three women. I would highly recommend this movie.

We had seen this movie in the theater, but I wanted a copy to watch at home at my leisure. This Blu Ray of the movie was spot on, and the picture was clear and crisp. Sound was very good. I use closed captions in addition because of a hearing loss. Good movie, excellent Blu Ray.

Great movie! A little bit of science and a little bit of history, mixed in with a whole lot of heart. A different perspective of a story we've all heard -- the Space Race. These women are amazing. It's simply fascinating to see how far we've come in equality and in science.

This movie provided an insight unknown to most people. Most people have no idea the important role these women of color made. In the past it seemed you only saw white males working with NASA. John Glenn played an important role in making sure the expertise of these women was recognized.

A movie that transcends time and commemorates the struggle of 4 African American female scientists during a time of segregation and overt racism in the U. S. Not sure I would have had the patience and courage to succeed, but thank God they did.

This movie makes you think about the power of education, equal rights for all man, defeating prejudice and growth of person. It also shows what working together can accomplish. This is done while being a great movie and excellent entertainment. There are very few quality movies like this today.

This was not only a very entertaining movie, but a great story out of our history that has been totally unknown to the populace! The role these women played in the space program, and how some of them stood up for their own abilities is inspiring! Great performances by the actors all around.

I enjoyed this movie because it told an often unmentioned aspect of the US space program. My family played an active role in the Huntsville, Alabama activities of NASA so this movie had special relevance for me. Aside from the historical accuracy, this movie also had an excellent cast.

Excellent story that has even more significance now than when it was in the theaters. Understated acting is perfect in this smartly written, unbelievable story. Our ignorance of history has one more gap filled by this wonderful movie.

Because of Hurricane Harvey I had to re-purchase this movie. It’s my daughter’s FAVORITE. And to be honest I couldn’t find it at a reasonable price. We chose Best Buy because I knew we had a good chance at finding it. To our SURPRISE not only was it there it was the LOWEST PRICE.

I saw the movie while at a seminar. It has great acting and tells the inside story of our space race during the cold war. I couldn't stop watching it. This is a great film for anyone's collection if you were around that era, I lived it and remember it well! You won't be disappointed.

Didn't know what to expect even though was up for best picture. Turns out I got a lot of enjoyment. I would recommend the whole family watch this movie. It gives today's youth a chance to see how color lines were broken and how people came together to make the dream of outer space come true

a very strong and powerful movie showcasing the unsung women that worked at NASA during the early years of the space program in the fields of math, engineering and computers that were dominated by men. I can't get enough of the movie.
