The women did the work but we're not getting paid the same as men. The women also were not being promoted. The space program was how the women used their skills in helping launch the spacecraft. Very interesting story. A lot of facts know in history. Very good movie. Highly recommended.

This movie was a fascinating look into the lives and struggles of these women in their time and professions. But, it's a great insight into the space program and the space race. It's so well written, filmed and acted. I think they should show this in every middle school around the country.

Very good movie with great picture,visual, audio quality. Excellent cast an great choice of actors and actressess. The time and era lined up perfectly. After seeing it in the theater it was equally good viewing it in the comfort of my home. This is a great addition to my library at home.

I really enjoyed this movie. I am very interested in the space program and until I heard about this movie I had no idea the role these ladies played in the success of the program. I love that they finally got a bit of the credit they deserved. Although it was long overdue.

This movie introduces prejudice of Blacks, women, job in a palatable way. The humor was a good a good stress reliever. Black women can easily relate to the lives of the 3 women. There is great historical value presented as everyone involved in the space race reaches a pinnacle at NASA..

This is yet another example of how hard the road to success is if you are a person of color.and a woman The other women got no respect and so they offered little or no help to those that still had dreams. When the light of the truly gifted started to shine there was no holding back.

It is far and few between to see stories about real life black hero's in American history and hear is one we all should have known about. Beautifully directed, photographed and edited. All of the performances by the entire cast are exceptional. Watch and enjoy. It's good for the soul.

This movie is a great movie. I didn't see it as a movie about the prejudice of the years gone by as much as a movie about the trials many had to go through. Sad things were that way in that day. So good that most of that prejudice is no longer here. These women were remarkable women.

Loved this movie and will watch it many times. The story is very interesting and eye opening and the cast is excellent. Since I bought my 4K HDR TV from Best Buy, I only buy movies in this format. It really makes a difference and IMO, they are much more enjoyable to watch.

This movie was great, I highly recommend it. I thought it was really interesting to get a more "behind the scenes" look at NASA and see the calculations, etc. that are necessary when sending someone into space. Most space related movies are about the astronauts.

A very interesting story about NASA that most people never knew about and also that all Americans can achieve much higher goals together with equality and respect than we can without. A very good story based on 3 real African American women. 2 thumbs up, uplifting and motivating !!!!

This is the movie that should have won Oscar for best picture ... it is that good and I was extremely surprised on how Jonelle Monae acted .. she is one that has a pretty good future if she wants to act... but Octavia and Taraji are the ones that make this movie shine... great movie

I had wanted to see this, as I grew up while the Mercury program was starting. Seeing what this ladies had to put up with was astounding. I realize that some was dramatized, but seeing some of the white men finally get it was wonderful. Highly recommend this movie.

Very good movie. There were thing I never heard of. Great tool to teach a history lesson concerning NASA program and the types of people it took to get the space program off the ground. We need more movies like this to teach us more than what is taught in school today. Great Movie!

It's really too bad that stories such as this are not more forthcoming . . . perhaps a documentary or a series. There could be more detail about the courage, tenacity and struggle these young African American women had to endure. This is certainly a "must see" film for everyone.

I have watched it five times already. The night before I took two of my granddaughters to the Kennedy Space Center, we watched it. They were even more thrilled to know a lot of the history when we visited the center. There is a lot of history to learn from this movie. Excellent.

Excellent movie that depicts a generally unknown portion of our nations history. Although dramatized, it does a great job of depicting 3 heroic woman and the obstacles that they faced during the time period of the space race.

I really enjoyed this movie, I saw it in the theatre and just had to buy it! I also like that the ebook was offered. Instead of buy the movie version though with the "e-book credit", I bought the book Rocket Girls because I was intrigued about the history of these wonderful women.

How does all this history have to come out in a movie? Why isn't this taught in school? Nice to see these ladies had the skills and brains to help the country in the space race. And seen how needed they really were, especially one of the ladies. Glad they didn't give up.

True story which makes it good me and my wife watched this movie and was amazed at how these woman made it being the black women, they set goals for every black person that want to get in that field of work. Me and my wife liked the movie so much that we told friends to watch it.
