This movie is straight to the point real life in the '50's and '60's. To know how people were called "computers' before machines we know now is amazing. Hopefully we can learn how to treat everyone with respect, give each one an equal opportunity, and recognize achievement.

Beautifully conceived and performed. Being trained as a scientist myself, when it was an all male and all white or Asian profession that was transitioning to women and others, the movie was very personal and understandable.

Hidden Figures is a must have - or at the very least a must see. Based on true events, it showcases the lives of 3 African American women in the early 60's, the discrimination that took place, and how the women overcame those obstacles while excelling in their positions at NASA.

This wonderful family movie highlights the contributions to NASA's nascent space program by brilliant African American women. The audio is clear and true without giving the surrounds much to do; the video is lifelike, with deep blacks and few artifacts. Enjoyable and riveting.

Great black history month film. The book is more of a detailed historically account of how things were than the film. I am thankful that all the characters in the film were in the places they needed to be in order for NASA to be so successful. Best kept secret ever.

This is a great movie. The challenges that were faced by the women of this story are amazing. The grace, determination and strength that they display are truly the best examples for anyone.

One of the best movies ever. It's interesting how we are not aware of the many people (minorities) who had such a major impact on what America is today. This movie highlights that talent and also highlights the dark side of our history as well. Never Forget/Ignor the Help!!!!

Hidden Figures is incredibly moving, empowering and amazing. Seeing the world as 1963 was both moving and saddening. I could rewatch this movie and still be in awe. Hearing this story has made me want to learn/watch/engulf myself with more space exploration.

I enjoyed the movie...Not only that, it's good to see movies that are entertaining, that educate and that allow people to learn a little more about how many unsung people contributed to the building and greatness of this country. This is a must see.

I saw this movie in the theater and even though I am a male I found it to be very inspiring. I had to buy it right away. I especially recommend that young people be shown this movie so they can see the value in being confident and staying strong in the face of any adversity.

I was shocked to see how these 3 black women were treated in 1961 in the South! This is the stuff they are trying to pass laws so it can't be taught in school! I just finished watching it.

A fun feel-good movie that is (loosely) based on a true story. Shows the racism prevalent in the 1960’s and how capable women overcame their underprivileged status through their own determination and initiative.

This is such a great film, noting the trials and tribulations and efforts of black women helping to put Americans into space in the Cold War while fighting against racism and for equal rights at home.

Hidden Figures is a movie that takes you through the issues faced by Black NASA employees in the early days of space exploration. You learn a lot without it being preachy and is great fun to watch. Loved the way I felt after seeing this movie and recommend it for everybody.

A great film for all aspiring young women who believe that they can do anything men can. Definitely inspiring for young black females to see the stories of lesser-known women seldom celebrated in textbooks for their accomplishments and trailblazing several generations ago.

This is one of the best films of the year. It is engaging and shines a light on the accomplishments of these women during a time of great change in America. Kevin Costner is excellent in a supporting role. The 4K presentation is amazing and definitely worth the extra cost.

This was a very interesting story that I am happy to have watched. I found it educational, suspenseful, entertaining, and inspiring, They did a good job of recreating the era, and making the audience feel like a part of history.

My expectations were low that the material would make for a good movie. I was wrong! I found both the actors and the subject to be fascinating. I was totally involved with the movie. So much I had to go on line and research the events. Great movie. I highly recommend it.

One of the best movies to come out in a long time, this movie engaged each of my family members, which is extremely hard to do. It depicts a little known aspect of history and shows some extraordinary people in their everyday lives. You have to see this movie!

After all the publicity and word-of-mouth, this was a movie that definitely lived up to the hype. The historical significance of the story is well matched with both powerful and nuanced performances by the film's star actors. This is a great movie for the entire family!
