Hidden Figures is one of the best films of 2016. It is entertaining and an interesting story from the civil rights era. Future-proof by purchasing the 4K that includes the Blu Ray. You are ready for 4K when you take the plunge.

This is a great feel-good movie and even better for teens wanting a peek into life in the 1960's as women and minorities fought for equal rights. This is my first 4K / HDR movie, and the colors did pop more, especially on some of the cars.

I was not aware of Katherine Johnson's extraordinary story. Needless to say I was intrigued and this movie didn't disappoint. Taraji Henson is a tour de force,as were Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae. Highly recommend!

Excellent movie! I learned a lot regarding the contributions African American women have bestowed upon the USA. Absolutely amazing! If it wasn't for them we wouldn't have been able to send a man into space successfully.

I like it when the movie industry does a movie about historical facts that are not well known. Well, this is one of those! I, and probably you, never knew these facts. And they are proven by what happened in the past twenty years.

Everyone should watch this movie. The movie is spot on with the way women were treated and with this country's segregation. It was great to learn about about the space programs history, It was moving and inspirational

This is WONDERFUL movie about the hidden history of the United States. Not only does it celebrate the profound contributions of African Americans, it specifically highlights the intelligence and resolve of African American women.

Every time I watch this movie I discover something new and powerful. It has given me a visual representation to provide to young and older girls what the impact of technology and learning how to code can have on their lives!

I'm not much of a movie fanatic but I had to see what this movie was about. I was hooked after the initial 15 minutes and watched it without interruption to the end. I think all age groups/racial backgrounds will enjoy this film.

Very good movie....actors did very well. So much more, we will never get to the "crust" of the times,and the heart-ache that was endured. There are many more stories to be found, and put on the "silver screen". It really happened !!!!

Hidden Figures not only tells an important story about women in the space program but illuminates achievement of women of color at a time when films for that era were about women as maids. A must see for girls and women of all races.

This was an excellent movie, and based on a true story. When looking at the reviews and trailers, I wasn't sure that I, as a male, would like the movie. I was pleasantly surprised, and found myself empathizing with the main characters.

Strong characters. Especially nice to see women with intelligence and drive. These phenomenal women worked hard to get what they wanted and never took no for an answer. Portrayal of the 3 main women was done exceptionally well.

There needs to be more positive movies about successful African American woman whom excel in science and engineering. The truth is there are more success stories about woman in all areas of the American workforce than people realize.

Great acting in a movie with actual historical significance! No offense to Moonlight, which was also a great movie, but I would have given this the Best Movie Oscar! So important for all kinds of equality rights, yet still a fun movie.

I saw this movie at the movies and was intrigued by the subject matter. The acting and directing was awesome. Now that I have the Blu-Ray DVD it made me appreciate the movie more. This is a movie all audience members would appreciate.

Hidden Figures tells the true story of 3 women who overcome incredible odds to advance within a system that discriminates against them. Just a great and realistic depiction of the beginnings of the space program.

I really liked this movie. I'm a fan of historic movies and this one measures up with the best of them. I didn't realize how important the "hidden figures" were to our history at NASA. I would suggest that everyone watch this movie.

I really enjoyed this movie. Knowing the area made it even more satisfying. The only unsatisfactory thing was that the flight control center was not at NASA Langley but rather in Cape Canaveral Florida. Otherwise, a fantastic movie..

I found this historical picture very interesting. The acting was superb as was the story. If I were not a retired history teacher I would make sure that my students became familiar with the movie and its historical significance.
