We haven't seen too many NASA movies in the last few years, but this one more than made up for that. This goes back to the earlier days of NASA and tells a story that was not well known before this movie.

I cannot say enough great things about this movie. It was exceptionally done, perfectly acted, and definitely one for your movie collection to watch again and again for empowerment and a feel-good!

This movie was fantastic. It told the story of 3 African American women who were instrumental in the research to put the first man on moon. They had to endure racism but were determined to succeed.

This is an excellent movie for families. It illustrates the challenges black women faced in America, even as they were contributing significantly to the advancement of our space program. I highly recommend it.

This was a great movie giving the history of how women helped get a man into space and safely bring him home. We don't hear about it in the media, but this movie was amazing with that and the actresses were TOP NOTCH!

It's great to know our history of how things have happened.The women that were portrait in this movie should be Heroes. love the movie and made me appreciate all of our freedoms and why we are the country that we are.

This is a wonderful movie worth watching again & again, but the best part are all of the extras. You get to hear a lot more about the 'real' characters & see them finally get recognized by both NASA & the country.

Hidden Figures, which is based on a true story, is a fascinating film about three minority women who worked for NASA during the early years. The film depicts their problems and triumphs. A very well made film.

This movie was one that I was eager to watch to learn more of my history. I was totally blown away by it and it's contents. This movie is very powerful and moving. It's a shame it took this long to make it though...

Tells the story of three African American ladies that put the space race into high gear for the United States. This is a great portrayal of the history behind the program that got the first American into space.

This movie is incrediably inspirational. Three melanated skinned brillant mathematicians that who overcome gender and race bias to make space history.

Excellent movie for young people to watch and be inspired by. Woman overcoming obstacles in an discipline dominated by males. Well written with an outstanding cast. Loved the movie from start to finish. Go see it.

This was a great film that informed me about history. It should have been nominated for more than three Oscars. Special recognition goes to Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monae for a job well done!!

Hidden Figures is a movie about a great hidden story of three African American women who played a significant role in the early days of the space program. Their courage and their perseverance are inspiring.

I thought that this movie was inspiring and it introduced me to a story that I had never heard before or seen before and it made me think of the other hidden figures in history whose stories haven't been told yet.

I absolutely love this movie! Not only does it empowers women but it teaches young girls they can and should be smart and can do anything they put their minds to! It shows knowledge helps you become accomplished!

I am embarrassed to say that I first learned of this story watching an episode of "Timeless". I recall thinking to myself "This would make a great movie!". There are so many sub-plots within the story. Well done.

This movie was well acted, and directed. Expected to enjoy and I did, very much, a historical is must to see Along with films like Race and Hacksaw Ridge it ranks as one of the better of the genre in recent years

Such a great movie. The performances by the three lead actresses are outstanding. It's a shame it took so long for the stories of the three phenomenal women to be told. A must see for girls and women of all ages!

"besd on a true story" gets thrown asround to easily nowadays but with this film, we see a story that so perfectly protrayed, it shuold be a must see for anyone who believes they can do more, can be more.
