I'm a sucker for a movie based on real life and this is one for the collection. Its a great story about the history of our space program & black history as well. The actors in this movie did a really good just as well. They really soak you into the story.

I really enjoyed this move because it had some history to it and was serious in many ways and some drama yet also some humor and romance. Eliminating the segregation at the space center was a step forward to the fact that all men are created equally.

My wife and I really enjoyed this movie in the theater and knew it would be added to the home collection. It is inspiring to women of all races to show what can be accomplished with determination and not accepting the status quo. Excellent Movie!

I live history and especially history that we never got to learn about! Very inspirational and important to watch. This shows that anyone can accomplish anything! We are lucky they weee given the chance but should have received the credit they deserved!

Many people don't know or don't remember how women and especially women of color were treated in the past. We should be thankful that there were women who persevered and overcame racial injustice to become excellent contributors to our country.

Very entertaining movie. I'm always surprised when I see a film where I've never heard of this history prior to the movie being made. Great acting. Award winners. Any science person or woman would especially enjoy this movie. Fun for the whole family!

Interesting to see African American women calculating highly important parts of the space system probably saved someone's life with all the mathematical equations. Credit was usually given to someone else even when a Black person did it long time ago.

For those who haven't seen it, Hidden Figures is an excellent movie about the untold story of the female mathematicians who, behind the scenes, helped get the first astronauts to space. Nice extra feature discs. Good price, excellent movie to own.

Hidden Figures is an important historical film that should have been told a long time ago. Shot very well with an all-star cast. A true film about how women of color contributed to the aerospace industry during the height of the civil Rights movement.

Being a female and space nerd, my interest was piqued. After watching and seeing the drive of these "Hidden Figures", it was an inspiration. I'm only sad one of the three ladies are still alive to get the proper recognition now that this movie is out.

Great film depicting the racial bias of NASA during the 50's & early 60's and the courage of three black women who fought against the system and helped launch the US into the space age. Great acting all around. Well deserved Oscar for Octavia Spencer.

This film certainly represents a part of American history that I wasn't aware of. Often times, the contributions of African Americans are never mentioned or removed. It was great seeing the story of these three incredible women be brought to light.

I purchased both Hidden Figures and Father of the Bride 1 & 2 for my wife and the fast shipping to store was phenomenal. I had replaced Father of the Bride since she had it originally on VHS, but I was blown away by Hidden Figures. Awesome movie!

Without a doubt should have won best picture hands down. I really do not know or understand why the movies the past few years have won. They are only fair and last years was AWFUL. This movie was great. Not since Spotlight has a movie been so good.

I already saw this movie in the theater with my daughter and purchased this as a birthday present. Good price and easy process to order! Item wasn't available at my store for free pick up as I had ordered so Best Buy gave me free home shipping!

the film points out a sad chapter in our treatment of people of color. However, persistence and perseverance of the characters leads to a great ending. The storyline builds to a deserved climax. 4K did not add very much to the overall video quality.

Hidden Figures was very educational and it honor those women who paved the way for men to travel to space. I recommend it to all teachers across the board to incorporate part of their curriculum

I picked this up on sale to test out my new SONY 4k Blu-ray player after reading this is one of the best 4k transfers. I was not let down. I had wanted to see this film but missed it in theatres and it's fantastic and in 4K it looks great.

Hidden Figures was a great movie with great actresses and a great depiction of historical times. It was wonderful to see such a great true life story showing the accomplishments of black women. I purchased this two pack DVD set for a good price.

Very well done. Shows the reality of being a minority at that time. Good to see they were not intimidated. Helps but perspective on space travel.
