    Best Buy Price Match 5 Stars! Best Buy installers 5 Stars (Getting a 100" tv up stairs not easy)! TV Size and Picture Quality 5 Stars! But having issues wit eARC between tv and Sony STR-AZ500ES (it will constantly cut out). I tried Hisense troubleshooting, tried to open a ticket and took a survey hoping ANYONE would contact me! Nothing! I cant give this product 5 stars because the price they ask it should do what is advertised (eARC) but at the least give support!!! Because of that 1 star

    “IMAGINE THAT “

    Bestbuy has a slogan “imagine that”. I purchased the 100” Hisense U8 on the recommendation of the salesperson. I am usually a Samsung person. The day of the delivery the installers showed up without the television. They pointed to Bestbuy had not given them instructions to pick one up. I went to the local store I purchased the tv from to inquire about what was happening and the salesperson retrieved a manager to assist. He assured me two things one he would call me back very shortly with an update, and two the entities that got it wrong were working on fixing the issue. Remember, you can no longer call the stores directly so after waiting a couple of hours I returned to the store and spoke with the same manager who assured me once again it was being handled. I expressed to him I did not want a tv this size delivered to my house if it wasn’t going to be installed the same day. Well early that afternoon the tv was delivered and no one could tell me if it would be installed. After going back and forth between Bestbuy and their third party Manada they finally said it wouldn’t be installed that day imagine that. I sent the store manager an email with my concerns and he stated that he would try to find a resolution the following day when he returns to the store, not that he would get someone on it right away imagine that. Throughout the day I was the person initiating communication with Bestbuy and Manada-shouldn’t that be the other way around hmmm imagine that. The manager did contact me the next day only to tell me it had been escalated out of his hands nothing he could do wow imagine that. Someone from corporate called and said they could have someone install it a week later what type of customer service is that-imagine that. I expressed to her I had informed the first manager this was all suppose to have been completed at the same time or same day and I had rearranged furniture preparing for the delivery and a week was unacceptable imagine that! Instead of Bestbuy keeping a customer, doing the right thing they picked up the tv for a return, imagine that. This isn’t the first time Bestbuy and their services have been inadequate, but this will be my last time-imagine that. Lastly, I am warning anyone reading this if you are expecting good service of any type from Bestbuy run as fast as you can because from the local store to their corporate office customer service is an afterthought….IMAGINE THAT!!!!!

    We have noted one more thing!

    We have got the 100U8K a few days ago and we keep noticing signs of a low quality product, for example today we have noted that the screen has uneven surface, you can see that clearly in the lighting reflections on the screen, they supposed to be straight lines but because the screen is not even, the reflection looks wavy, and you can see that clearly in the attached photos. Also you can read the previous review for more details.

    ABSURD PLACE FOR HDMI PORTS!

    Don't get me wrong, the picture quality is great especially for the price but what was Hisense thinking to put the HDMI ports on the back instead of on the sides like other TVS?! I never seen a TV with a stupid place for HDMI ports! This TV is mounted. I should have taken inconsideration from the other reviewers who mentioned this! Luckily, Geek Squad helped plugged them in so now if it comes unplug I will need another person to help me. How dumb? This just ruined the TV for me.

    I was profoundly dissapointed with the lack of support from the manufacturer. You can easy realized you had not purchase a Sony or LG, everything about this tv is cheap, from having to unplug the tv from the outlet to a a support that leave too much to be desire from the vendor Best Buy and the manufacterer.

    Purchased tv and had it delivered and installed that’s when it went south thet have gave me 2 dates to deliver and install Best Buy never showed up called customer support both times they told me there was nothing they could do until after the delivery and then they might be able to do something bought tv on 7/28/25 it’s 9/4/25 I’m still trying to get the $2,000 tv I paid for

    Unfortunately I returned the tv…. Great size for my massive living room, sound was acceptable… the picture was not up to standard I tried every guru setup on YouTube it’s just not a great tv

    STAY AQAY FROM HISENSE TV's

    do not buy, hisense TV has terrible service about to throw the TV away and go back to a Samsung TV. Tech came out and said he can 't service the TV if it is not unmounted. I told him Best Buys installed it with 3 guys for the 100 inch TV. There is no way I can take it down myself and I didnt know how to do it. If i did I would not have paid best buys to install it. Now i Need to find an installer to un mount the TV then call hisense again to come out to fix the TV and then call an installer to re mount it again. All this because the TV flickers on certian movies and they cannot figure out what the problem is.

    Does not look like mini led & has issues

    Tv did not meet my expectations… The tv doesn’t not look like Mini led and had lots of issues sometimes apps freezes. Also was having hard time connecting with wifi.. 5G… pictures looks washed out when gaming. The basic LED 98”TCL slightly no difference with pictures quality so I exchange for the TCL instead..The Hisense 100” is 40lbs heavier then the 98” tcl only 2” difference. Don’t make sense why have to focus on the speaker to add the sounds that makes it so heavy & should focus more on the picture quality.

    Best Buy Installation is a scam

    I purchased this 100-inch TV along with a 77-inch OLED, but when the technician came to install both, they said it would be difficult to bring the 100-inch TV upstairs to our loft area and recommended a third-party installer. They left the TV in our hallway and rescheduled the installation. Unfortunately, they rescheduled it four times before finally canceling the install without even notifying me. I only found out about the cancellation when I checked My Best Buy. This is completely unacceptable.

    This TV has a lot of quality control issues -dead pixel and blooming issues but this is to be expected for the price point- Still recommend the 85-inch TV - avoid the 100 inches at all costs until they improve the quality control for their panels.

    TV seems fine. It's a complicated device and will take time and effort to set up for the best result. Be warned that Best Buy policies are very bad. A 15-day return period on such a complicated device is not reasonable. 15-day price protection is like no price protection

    This is the best tv I have ever owned. I usually buy Sony but they dont make TVs this size for a reasonable price. I recommend buying the warranty if you get one of these TVs, but what you get for the money is absolutely incredible. I spent a few hours doing research on the settings for the tv myself and found what makes the picture great and now the tv looks absolutely outstanding. HIGHLY recommend this tv. I’ve owned it for months and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made!!! Everyone loves it and comments how huge it is and how great it looks. Buy it.

    Apps incompatibility

    TV is great. Great image, looks good, although not as much as my LG OLED (expected). Here what's hurting: the dumb Google TV software. Very limited, painful. For example, I am a legit subscriber of the Tennis Channel. Can the app be put on the tv? Nope, it's "not compatible with Hisense". Using the browser? Nope. It doesn't make sense that legit, common apps cannot be used on that tv. GET A SAMSUNG INSTEAD, there is no problem with apps and so on.
