Do not waste your money.

Not worth it

Replaces "built-in" HISENSE TV speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item as an external replacement for the built-in speakers in my HISENSE TV. These speakers are rear mounted so the sound bounces off the wall and my TV is mounted on a stand in facing a corner. The built-in EQ settings were not that effective in suppressing the resonance. So the resulting acoustic reflection and coloration was annoying. I can connect this unit via TOSLINK (fiber cable) directly to the TV. The TOSLINK cable is included. It is a DOLBY based unit and mates well with the TV. It can also handle DTS (on BluRay) also, with some tweaking and a bit more volume. The multi-color LED indicator is a nice touch. The unit also has "auto-off" (goes into standby) when no audio signal is present for 10 minutes. The low frequency range is quite rich for a speaker of this size. The bass and dolby-image width can be adjusted in increments but there are only 3 main settings: TALK, MUSIC & CINEMA. There are NO discrete mid / high frequency adjustments. Other than that it's quite good especially if you connect it to a HISENSE TV.

Love the Hisensse sound bar

Helping mom hear the TV

You usually can never get a direct opinion from her about things, but in this case, she brought it up and said she could hear the TV better. This is a pretty strong statement coming from my mother. Especially at this price I think it’s a great value. I was pleasantly surprised that an HDMI cable was included with the item. I had expected to purchase one.
