    The USB port plug in made a flashing green line appear on my television. It happens every time I turn my tv on now, even without the soundbar being attached! Returned the sandbar for credit and that was an experience as well.

    First day ok, second day losses sound after 8 minutes, turn back up after 8 minutes goes out again. Now you cant even change source or eventurn it off with remote or button on unit.

    wouldnt even give it a one star , quit working a couple month after recieving it , and now i cant return it to the store , and woud cost 30 dollars alone to ship back to company , warranty is worthless

    Honestly not worth it. Not the sound I was excepting. My tv at 15% volume is at equal loud as 100% full volume on the speaker.

    At first I had my doubts how good this soundbar could be for under 100 dollars. I was very pleasantly surprised at the sound quality that this soundbar delivers. Great buy for the money

    Replaces "built-in" HISENSE TV speakers

    I purchased this item as an external replacement for the built-in speakers in my HISENSE TV. These speakers are rear mounted so the sound bounces off the wall and my TV is mounted on a stand in facing a corner. The built-in EQ settings were not that effective in suppressing the resonance. So the resulting acoustic reflection and coloration was annoying. I can connect this unit via TOSLINK (fiber cable) directly to the TV. The TOSLINK cable is included. It is a DOLBY based unit and mates well with the TV. It can also handle DTS (on BluRay) also, with some tweaking and a bit more volume. The multi-color LED indicator is a nice touch. The unit also has "auto-off" (goes into standby) when no audio signal is present for 10 minutes. The low frequency range is quite rich for a speaker of this size. The bass and dolby-image width can be adjusted in increments but there are only 3 main settings: TALK, MUSIC & CINEMA. There are NO discrete mid / high frequency adjustments. Other than that it's quite good especially if you connect it to a HISENSE TV.

    Purchased for my elderly mother who has difficulty hearing. You usually can never get a direct opinion from her about things, but in this case, she brought it up and said she could hear the TV better. This is a pretty strong statement coming from my mother. Especially at this price I think it’s a great value. I was pleasantly surprised that an HDMI cable was included with the item. I had expected to purchase one.
