I really like that the woofer is built in, the often deeper sounding male voices in tv shows sound so good, the punt of a football sounds like it is in the room. Having the bar in front of the TV is recommend, at first we had it behind the TV and thought the gap between the stand and bottom of TV was enough but it didn't sound clear. Moving it in front of the TV did the trick. The HDMI-ARC function is great, it disables the TV speaker and automatically uses the sound bar as the audio source and your cable box TV remote will adjust this audio. This does not work with the optical audio cable, you would need to use the sound bar remote.

Disappointed

My tv actually gets louder. When i have it set on "movie" you can barely hear the people talking. I have a hisense tv. Ive had it for several years and have never had a peoblem with it so i thought id try this brands soundbar. It was a big let down. It did pair effortlessly with my tv tho.

LED indicator lights and remote do not work. Unfortunately i did not get a chance to install this until after the return window. Looks like i am stuck with it. BUYERS BEWARE

So disappointed

The sound bar did not work at all with my Hisense TV. The TV wouldn't turn on or off unless I stood within 2 feet in front of it and I couldn't do any settings at all. The sound was very tinny--worse than the TV alone. Ended up returning the Hisense sound bar and getting a Roku sound bar which sounds 100% better and works very well.

2.1 Hisense JUNK.

Contacted the store and they said I needed one with Amos and tried to sell me a unit for $299. Salesperson also told me that this one was JUNK and it was from 2002

Wouldn't buy

It happens every time I turn my tv on now, even without the soundbar being attached! Returned the sandbar for credit and that was an experience as well.

Bad unit.

Now you cant even change source or eventurn it off with remote or button on unit.
