    I have the model just below this one. I use it as my computer monitor and to watch television and films while sitting at my desk. I have had it for several years and never had any problems. The performance is fine for these purposes. Just be aware that is not FHD (Full HD) with 1080p resolution, but rather SHD (Standard High Definition), with 720p resolution. If that is all right with you, go for it, but otherwise, I recommend spending a little more and getting the next model above this one, with 1080p.
