I initially didn't think I would like the Hisense based on the low price, the fact that I'd never heard of before and I didn't read too many glowing reviews either. If it weren't for the fact that my bedroom set was busted between pay days and aeven though I was nervous to spend my tiny budget on Hisense the only other brand in my price range was TCL and there's just no way I'm bringing another piece of garbage tcl into my home again! I went through 4 TCL TV's in 7 months between mine & my son's rooms. every TV we toss in the trash ends up at the bottom of the ocean somewhere. The Hisense was also not a Roku which made me really happy! The picture is crisp, clean and the set-up for android TV is great! I even have an external drive with hundreds of movies, games, photos & more for us to enjoy in the event the wifi goes down or the kids are using up all the bandwidth! I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My son & daughter both want my Hisense now. It was such a a happy little coincidence that things happened in the way they did otherwise I probably wouldn't have taken a chance on this brand. I don't understand the negative reviews. I'm guessing that people that are satisfied with their purchases are less likely to write reviews but everyone with something to complain about, legitimate or otherwise can't pass up an opportunity to pour out all the frustrations of the day for some reason. I believe the majority of purchase are in the homes of the silently satisfied. I this is one thing that I would improve on if I had to say it would be the speakers with the volume put all these TVs need a sound bar down a little help something? I really wish I could've afforded a bigger set. So there it is my review and I hope some may have found it helpful in some capacity.

We chose this TV for the price and android operating system. It took a while to find the proper internet browser (Odin) though. Has had picture issues once where we had to contact customer service and they asked us to replug the power cable which we found strange, but it worked. Hasn't been a problem since. Picture has been clear and sharp.

Generally happy with purchase. Picture is bright and controls are intuitive. The legs seem a kind of flimsy. Make sure you place in on a real steady surface. The batteries they include for the remote are cheap non-alkaline ones that results in poor remote performance. Once I replaced them with alkaline AAAs the remote worked fine.

Easy setup - i wanted a tv that i could bluetooth headphones to and this tv does it smoothly. smooth switching between tv and apps. voice control works well through my phone no so much with the remote. picture quality is good, sound quality is better than most. i would buy another one.

I like the built in Chromecast and blue tooth transmitter features. Don't like the supplied remote control because it often takes multiple tries for TV to respond to commands and the buttons are poorly marked and to close together.

We bought the same TV in 2 different sizes. The picture is clear. Unfortunately we cannot get voice commands to work. I’ve called Hisense help 3 times, but no one has been able to fix it. Also called Best Buy to get the first TV added for rewards & to our products list. I’m trying to add a few weeks after the purchase because we weren’t told there was a rewards program when we bought the first TV. The agent said she added it, but that was a week ago and still not showing. Disappointed in service after the sale from both Hisense & Best Buy, but the TVs are great!

Nice for the cost. Picture quality is excellent as are the built-in speakers. Owner's manual is non-existent. Remote is finicky. Overall I probably would have bought something else if I had done more research, but I do feel it was worth the money.

Dad is on a fixed income and can't afford cable but he has basic internet. This TV allows him to watch free streaming channels and even a couple of $5 a month streams like Paramount+ and Peacock. He gets enough shows to keep him happy.
The voice activated remote helps him out when he forgets how to work the remote, which sometimes happens because he has some cognitive issues happening due to his MS diagnosis. The remote is simple, the controls fairly easy. Just make sure to have a good internet connection because if the signal is weak, proximity to the router can be a blessing or a curse.
Set up wasn't too difficult ... just plug it in and follow the prompts. The size is good. He was watching shows on a tablet when he had cataracts. Those were just removed and the bigger screen is definitely better for his newly cleared eyes than a tiny tablet screen. Overall we are pleased with this purchase.

Using this TV for a bedroom. Already have a 28" LG28LM400B-PU in another bedroom. Was going to just buy another of the same 28" LG but was able to fit this Hisense 32" in an existing wall unit. It's not a bad TV but the picture isn't quite as clear and crisp as the LG. However, it wasn't bad enough for me to go through the return process. The sound from the speakers is pretty bad so I hooked up some external speakers. If a 28" is adequate for your needs I recommend the LG over this Hisense.

I got this TV for my parents boat house. There is a lot of glare being outside even though the TV is covered from all weather. This gets very bright that you can view it in most angles outdoors. The Android TV built in was perfect as well so I didn't need an additional dongle to stream videos.

I was initially happy to an android tv but was very disappointed in the remote. Takes about 5-10 seconds to respond. I even changed the batteries to Alkaline batteries as one reviewer mentioned and no improvements. Lastly, the microphone on the remote was nonexistent, didn’t work at all and I check all the system settings to make sure it was off. I did sign into my Google account to make sure that was not an issue. Returned the TV. Outside of this the Tv was good.
