I LOVE THIS TV! There was only one review when I bought it, so it was a risky shot, but this smart TV had a few features that were better than the Vizio 39", so I decided to go ahead and buy it. Don't regret my decision. Even the size is perfect for my living room. The set up was very easy. Even the set up of my Roku was seamless (didn't even require to link the new TV). The remote has an INPUT button, so it is easy to choose TV or HDMI (where I connect my Roku). The settings even let you change the name HDMI 1 to whatever you want. I changed it to Roku, obviously. At first, I chose Store view instead of Home view because I read online the brightness was better. However, the Store view has an annoying banner at the bottom. I changed to Home view and then I adjusted the brightness one notch up. That was enough to get a perfect picture. 1080p is amazing! I wanted to know if I could also see Netflix without the Roku --through the smart features of the TV itself. It also worked just fine by choosing TV input and then clicking on Netflix on the remote. There are also Vudu, Youtube, and Amazon buttons on the remote. The remote is well designed and straight forward. No complains. I like the fact that the TV stays in whatever input you leave it when you turn it off. So, if I am watching Sling TV through my Roku and I turn off the TV, whenever I turn it back on, it will be exactly in the same spot. The sound is also amazing, much better than my old TV. I do not need to crank it up at all. I do not know if this TV will last many years or will break tomorrow, but so far, IT IS AN EXCELLENT PURCHASE. Strongly recommended.

I had to replace a TV and in this size range there weren't very many options. This TV had good ratings and I have to agree. It has a great picture and sound. It was easy to set up and has many nice features like Netflix and Youtube. The price was very good so it was a win-win purchase.

Perfect for small room or bed room. Budget priced for all the features included. Size and weight made easy wall mounting. Picture, sound, and color great. Only 1080p but most programing viewed is not higher.

It was very surprising to see this Hisense 39” TV has such Bright and sharp images without the need to make big adjustments. Sound is decent, but never expected that to blow me away. Not sure if the Full HD or 120Hz refresh rate has something to do, but compared with the Insignia 39”, this TV well worh $20 extra by far.

This smart tv is great for any room, not too large and not too small..just right for a bedroom wall. Great color and I love the remote. It has buttons for Netflex, VUDU, Amazon & YouTube. Great price for a Smart TV.

First off I can say that I was a little skeptical about purchasing this brand. I’ve talked to people that have said good things about Hisense and then I’ve seen mixed reviews all over the internet. Just before Christmas I saw that Best Buy had this tv for $199 so I decided that I was going to go for it. I really wanted a replacement for the bedroom and the tv I really had my heart set on was just way out of my price range so $199? Yeah, that was worth the gamble. I was beyond happy when I got this tv home and set up!! Absolutely worth every penny and I haven't been disappointed at all with this purchase. Here’s what I really like: Set up was easy and it only took a few minutes The pre installed Netflix works flawlessly The picture is amazing once you change the setting from energy saving mode to anything else This tv has more than enough volume and the sound quality is pretty solid This tv is aesthetically pleasing What I don’t like: It’s a smart tv and Hulu’s not an option. I only use Hulu and Netflix so that’s not a plus but I have a fire stick so no biggie The remote isn’t backlit. I usually watch shows at bedtime with the lights off. So yeah, backlit remote in a perfect world No sleep timer. Kind of a biggie for me as I usually find myself waking up in the wee hours of the morning fumbling the remote trying to turn off the tv. Other than that this tv is really solid and a great buy. I wouldn’t let the things I don’t like deter me from purchasing another Hisense and maybe if I dropped a little more cash I’ll get my backlit remote and sleep timer. Extremely happy with this tv and with the 5yr warranty purchased I have confidence that this was a great purchase! I would certainly recommend this tv for anyone not looking to drop an arm and a leg But wants a really great quality picture.

I bought this for my son’s room, he needs sound to fall asleep. It’s really easy to set up. The picture is great for the price range, I recommend adjusting it and playing around with the brightness and color. Overall it’s a great TV for its price range.

The size fits well for a bedroom or small living room. The ability to set it up with the included stand or use a wall mount gives flexibility on where to locate the TV in the room.The thin case is wonderful making nearly the entire size viewable area with very little wasted space. Picture and sound are very good with many options to adjust for personal preferences. 3 HDMI ports make this TV a much better selection then most on the market and the USB ports allow digital movie watching easily.

I bought this in deal if the day and have been completely satisfied. Picture quality is great and very user friendly.

Great TV, full of color & life, easy to set up & use

Didn't know what to think about this brand of TV. But compared to more expensive brands picture wise, this TV had much better picture quality. Glad I purchased this TV. Thinking about getting another one for the bedroom.

This TV is pretty good considering the price. clear picture and good colors.

For this price, this is an excellent HDTV. I plan to buy 2 more to replace older, smaller TVs. The picture quality is surprisingly good, the sound quality is OK, about the same as the built-in speakers on most other flat panel TVs. I haven't tried any of the streaming apps so can't comment on that, even with a "smart" TV I prefer the Roku interface using a separate box.
