Consumers cannot rely on availability displayed

After spending two hours on the phone today about a previously delivered defective model of this TV, I was finally informed that this model is backordered, with no expected delivery date. By their representative’s own admission, the Best Buy web site cannot be relied upon as to product availability or delivery. If any product you order is not ACTUALLY available, despite what the site represents, your order will just be cancelled, without giving you any options. And don’t expect for your return to be credited immediately. What a scam! My last transaction with Best Buy. Not a consumer friendly site.

Received a used tv when paid for new.

The first setup went great. The second tv when opened was clearly a used tv in a sealed box. The plastic had been removed from the face, the remote had batteries in it, and the screws for the legs were screwed into the bottom of the tv already. I set it up and it seems to work fine, however when you pay for a new tv I would expect something new. I contacted Best Buy customer chat and they could only recommend returning the tv which is a major inconvenience. I would have been happy with extended warranty or open box price but they could not do that.

DO NOT BUY

They sent me the wrong TV and refuse to take it back. I have been getting the run around from customer service for weeks and the store refused to issue a replacement. I have proof because the picture FedEx sent to confirm delivery shows a box for a Toshiba 7C not a Hisense 7A. At this point it feels like Best Buy is intentionally trying to rip me off.

rtings review doesn't apply to 43 inch

The 50 inch does not seem to have the problem, or not the same degree. Would recommend the 50 inch for the price/performance but not the 43 inch as a result. The 50 inch is also brighter.

Bought a second one from a local best buy and the screen displayed green lines within the return window. Returned and never looked back. Would likely never purchase a Hisense because of that.

This TV is glitchy and not working

Google TV freezes when navigating through apps. It’s impossible to watch cable or play PS4 because the HDMI modes switch back to Google TV on their own. I’ve contacted Hisense and they have been no help. There are only so many times I can do a factory reset or update the firmware.

Think twice

It’s clearly a budget TV but saving a few bucks on the purchase just for it not to barely last over the manufacturer warranty period isn’t worth it to me.

Open Box "excellent", not excellent at all.

Great Image Quality Compared to Samsung
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROS: The image of this tv is as VERY good, great contrast and clarify compared to the Crystal version. I recommend. It is very easy to install and it uses Google TV. If you have Google O.S. on your cell, you can add apps from Google Play and it will add to your TV also. I found out that Google TV stopped apps purchases as of July 2024 but I'm still able to upload it. I had to call Hisense to fix one of the app issues. Only one year warrantee for parts, labor and tech support. Over all the tv works great. I like that it turns on right away. No lag. It works well with antennas and Wifi. No lag there either. This was the most economical TV I ever purchased compared to Samsung brands which I bought prior to this one (Crystal and image turned blurry after some time so the Samsung was returned). I just hope the updates for this TV will last for a while since Google is saying no longer supports Google TV which is the operating system of this TV. I recommend though if you don't want to spend a lot. Great image quality also. The sound is loud enough you don't have to use a sound bar. Extra Points there. Might not connect to a external sound bar though. It has Bluetooth also.

At first Not so good..But then...

But once I got past that, well, The sound is pretty good lots of options and the color is actually very good. I have a 2yr old Hisense thats a AndroidTV/GoogleTV and has the full google play app/store baked in. I ccan also sideload anything onto it in a few ways. However I bought this Tv for my bedroom and its prefect except I soon realized that the system was very locked down. I tried to install some apps and the tv talked to me saying the app isnt compatible with this tv..lol. WHAT??? So I started freaking out and was about to take it back. But There is a browser app you can install that allows you to easily download and install ANY app almost to the tv. Now I have everything on it and it now functions just like my older tv. Love it. Now the other problem i was faced with when buying this was..How much storage does it have internally and the processor name and speed in it? Well I can tell you this, I believe its 12GB internal storage but youll have about 7 or 8GB free to use because the system takes up 4 or 5GB. But my older tv only has 4GB storage so this is almost double thank god. And according to instructions you can connect to the USB ports to create additional storage. I have yet to see a tv that says that but where it actually works. I do NOT know the processor installed in it nor the speed of it. I was kinda stumped and so where the best buy sales guys as they didnt have a clue as to those specs of this TV. they searched their site and the internet and nowhere on the Box or manual or online on anything even on Hisenses website they DO NOT list any Storage or Processor specs at all. Very strange considering like when i buy a phone i always NEED to know how much internall storage the phone has right..anyway I HIGHLY recommend this tv. But i only needed the 43 inch for my small room but for what $270 you can get the 55 inch. I would for sure buy that one at that price an amazing tv.

I was pleasantly surprised to find these two 43” Hisense TVs with Google Tv for a very reasonable price. They have a bright ,clear picture, and they are very easy to navigate. The sound is great, and I don’t need additional speakers or a soundbar. I recommend this tv , and would buy this brand again.
