Best Buy Customer Service is a JOKE!!!

My wife and I went to the local store and picked out this TV to go in our RV. On the day it was supposed to arrive I checked online and it appeared it had not shipped. I was never informed that it was not shipped. I opened a chat and the agent couldn’t explain but assisted in getting it expedited for reshipment. She opened a case number to track the issue. Well guess what, the second order never shipped. No explanation and no communication that it didn’t ship. But no TV ever shipped and all of the communication was one way. ME asking questions with no answers. I then called and talked to someone in your offshore call center. They had no answers but said to give them 48 hours. We are now talking 2 weeks after we went to the local store. Guess what, I never got a call back and no explanation. I just got an email saying a refund had been issued. One of the poorest experiences I have ever had with any company! So, we ordered a new TV from another company and it was delivered as promised. Next time I will start with the other company and never deal with Best Buy again. Sad because Best Buy used to have good customer service.

No good

I purchased this for my step-father that had recently almost died in a motorcycle wreck. He has basically been bedridden for over a year. Very sad that a tv conveniently fails just after the warranty is up.

Great TV…No Xfinity Stream App Compatibility

Still trying to figure out a way to get my xfinity channels on this TV thats in the garage. Makes absolutely no sense to me at all!!

Consumers cannot rely on availability displayed

After spending two hours on the phone today about a previously delivered defective model of this TV, I was finally informed that this model is backordered, with no expected delivery date. By their representative’s own admission, the Best Buy web site cannot be relied upon as to product availability or delivery. If any product you order is not ACTUALLY available, despite what the site represents, your order will just be cancelled, without giving you any options. And don’t expect for your return to be credited immediately. What a scam! My last transaction with Best Buy. Not a consumer friendly site.

Received a used tv when paid for new.

The first setup went great. The second tv when opened was clearly a used tv in a sealed box. The plastic had been removed from the face, the remote had batteries in it, and the screws for the legs were screwed into the bottom of the tv already. I set it up and it seems to work fine, however when you pay for a new tv I would expect something new. I contacted Best Buy customer chat and they could only recommend returning the tv which is a major inconvenience. I would have been happy with extended warranty or open box price but they could not do that.

DO NOT BUY

They sent me the wrong TV and refuse to take it back. I have been getting the run around from customer service for weeks and the store refused to issue a replacement. I have proof because the picture FedEx sent to confirm delivery shows a box for a Toshiba 7C not a Hisense 7A. At this point it feels like Best Buy is intentionally trying to rip me off.

The 50 inch does not seem to have the problem, or not the same degree. Would recommend the 50 inch for the price/performance but not the 43 inch as a result. The 50 inch is also brighter.
