The TV would constantly freeze up and the remote would become unresponsive. Ultimately, the TV now simply refuses to turn on after doing all the troubleshooting possible. Avoid this brand like AIDS.

I had to return my initial purchase

Please perform a factory reset on the television by going to Settings>Device Preferences>Reset. The television will then shut off and after coming back on will prompt you to set up the TV like when it was just out of box. Great value

I bought it at a great price, and I love that I can access all my shows without having to plug in my laptop or have a lot of bulky wires. The google assistant is helpful

Very poor viewing angles

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV to use as a computer monitor and also tested it out with streaming services. 0 Stars for the use as a computer monitor and TV. The pixel format results in the text not being sharp. At first I thought I was too close to the TV and was noticing the pixels however this is not the case. I have since tried a TCL 4 Series and text is very crisp at computer monitor distances. The TV has very poor viewing angles in that the edge of the screen is not viewable unless you are 8+ feet back and seated dead center of the TV. The panel construction has the backlight being a significant distance from the LCD (estimate at ~1cm). This results in a significant number of pixels around the edge of the TV to be unviewable when sitting in front of the TV when being used as a monitor. Even when sitting at ~8FT from the TV and 2-3ft to the right from the center you do not have 100% view due to the edges being unviewable due to the poor viewing angle. For the above-mentioned reasons I can't recommend this TV. I would recommend a TCL 4 series instead which has better viewing angles(acceptable for TV watching, and as a monitor workable but not ideal). I will be testing out an LG IPS TV next and hope for that give even better viewing angles as a monitor.

Do Not Purchase

Reasons why are as follows (this review is after 3 months on use): -TV load time on start up is really long and slow -TV remote has a long delay from when a button is pushed and TV response -After a week,, TV screen goes black and you have to unplugnit and reset it for the screen to work again -After a month and a half, No picture, resetting the TV stopped working and just sound was coming from the TV. - Manufacturers warranty is Terrible and they will not replace your TV but instead will have a technician come and try to fix it (still waiting after 2 weeks for a tech to come out) If it is deemed unfixable they MIGHT offer you a replacement BUT NO REFUND. I have never had a Brand New TV give me as many problems as this one has. I regret the purchase but this Hisense TV was the only option at the time due to Covid and limited availability from other TV manufacturers.

The Android TV could be a hair quicker when scrolling around but for the money and total package, you can't beat it.

Avoid at all costs, extremely slow SW response

I have to unplug from the outlet about once a week the SW gets hung or the TV won't even respond to the remote trying to turn on the TV. Lots of lag on any command especially if going back to watching TV after a break/pause.

This worked fine for 2 months. Now it doesn't work

It worked great and had alot of features I liked. Now when I turn it on it constantly reboots and goes black. You cannot watch it. This product is totally junk. And you can get no one to help. I will never buy anything from Best Buy again. Do not buy this tv. It is a huge disappointment.

Hisense TV Processors Under-Powered - DON'T BUY!

I bought this one in August 2020 – and with Google TV updates – everything is SO SLOW! Just switching between broadcast channels and any app takes FOREVER. Also, if I was using an app when I turned it off, when I turn it on and press the HOME button, it can take up to 5 minutes for the home screen to load. I can only guess that the processor is so under-powered that it just can't handle the Google TV updates. I can honestly say that this is the WORST electronics purchase I have ever made. The Best Buy return window closed – otherwise I definitely would've returned it!

Bad after 2 months

We've had it for 2 months and now it turns off by itself and it says running out of memory. It's now out of best buy warranty and Hisense hasn't responded to my email.
