Good until it stopped working

Not a very good tv

Dead in 6 months

It's cheap plastic for sure If you and a friend wore catchers gear you could play Frisbee with this thing. After that I have nothing negative to say. I mounted this to an arm on a wall. $230 bucks for a 43 inch monitor that ticks every box for an Xbox One X. The picture looks great and the speakers are above average. What really caught me off guard is the price. This is right in the area you'll spend for a decent tablet. It's Android. If that doesn't excite you then maybe you should stick with Roku. For techies this is a crazy deal. With a sideloader you can get Chrome. You can use a file explorer to get right into your PC. It will run Kodi without crashing. If you want to run a VPN, no problem. If a games on the playstore you can use a bluetooth game pad to play it. Whatever you want this thing does it, for $230 bucks. It's ridiculous. If you want a high end look then you'll have to pay more. In the event you just want to replace a TV that is not your main, get this. This is amazing!

Can't use the TV once that fails. Bad design. Plenty of other folks online needing to replace the main boards on these, but I'm not going to do that just for it to fail again.

Lags & Freezes often

Decided a week later I have to return it because there is a constant lagging issue and freezing when clicking apps or using google assistant. It is not caused by my internet because when I look at the tv settings it says network is excellent. I was excited about it but it just didnt live up to expectations.

Joined the 15 Month Club

Use was pandemic heavy, and it had a few crashes, but normally the set recovered when unplugged and repowered. Set went down for good, offering only only the flashing then solid red LED after following the internet recommended reset instructions, indicating the set needs to be serviced, which I will not pursue. No, I am not happy. Hisense is off the approved vendor list.

I downloaded exactly 3 apps, hbo, Disney, and peloton and I got constant memory full messages. Deleted peloton same thing. If you are buying this as a smart tv to stream just don’t, save yourself the headache. Now I’m lucky if I can get Netflix, a built in app to work. It’s not my internet, every other device I have has zero problems.

Picture is good but the android tv is bad.

We have decent internet, router etc. It'd be fine if you use a different streaming device but the built-in just holds it back so much.

It's April 23, 2021 and the TV just keeps scrolling left to right on the icons. It's not the remote because even with the batteries out it still does it. Looks like I'm out $270. Now I will go buy a Samsung like I should have.
