Excellent picture and easy setup. Wireless 802.11ac is a plus and ery good sound for a flat panel. Lots of included apps. Only real complaint is that this set uses the Opera web browser which many websites do not support. Should use Firefox or chrome. Took one star for poor browser

Great picture, great remote, but no Sling TV app

This TV has an excellent picture and uses the Opera browser and Opera TV Store. The apps that come with the TV include Netflix, Ebay, Amazon, and many others but no Sling TV app which is why I chose the TV in the first place. The guy at the store told me it was available with this one. Opera TV Store does have many apps available on it though like weather apps and some free TV and movie apps. One big plus about this TV is that the remote that comes with it is a full size regular remote and if you are like me dealing with people who are not tech smart at home, this remote is perfect. The TV is easy to set up and only took a few minutes. I am going to return this TV because of the Sling App not being available on it. Its a big deal to me because right now I am paying 235.00 per month for cable and I am tired of over paying. The other apps just don't have what Sling has so I have to move on. Surprising that Hisense did not consider this.

Bought 3 of these for my rental condo. Great picture, cheap price, SMART TV. One of the three does not stream content via Netflix/Amazon, etc. I did everything, updated the software, reset the system, cleared the chip memory, called Hisense, to no avail. Hisense customer service was absolutely NO help. They kept telling me it was a bandwidth issue, which it's not (I had 4 TV's and a laptop all streaming at 121mbs). I finally gave up and got a refund via the Geek Squad warranty. Turns out, issue with the Wifi of the TV itself. My advice, buy the TV b/c it's great and it's cheap, but get the Geek Squad warranty, worth every penny. Oh..to save you a bunch of trips back to Best Buy, please bring the remote and both TV stand pieces with you....

Beautiful with 4K programming

At $349, and after two frustrating experiences with 1080p TVs and color shift, I brought this Chinese-made, Chinese government-owned brand home. When watching 4K programming, it is fantastic. However, be warned: as the programming resolution drops, so does the picture quality. Broadcast TV signals cause color shift issues as you go down from 1080p to 720p to 480p, getting progressively worse. Factory color settings are pretty good, and the TV has great advanced color setting adjustments. You might want to find a calibration tool/disc (Google it) but if you are either not too picky or adventurous and patient you may find a picture you are happy with on your own. I wish I could find a TV like the last one I bought six years ago, an LG 32LN5700, which had great color out of the box but developed a shadow spot in the lower right corner of the screen. I spent just over $500 on that when it was new and it was worth every penny. With this Hisense being $180 less and having a larger screen, I'll live with the issues and seek out as much high resolution programming as I can. Oh, one more little thing: no Crackle, no Hulu -- two of my favorite apps. Glad I can pull them in with my Apple TV and Sony Blu-Ray player. Hisense claims to be the #3 TV seller worldwide for 12 years running, and owns the Sharp and Toshiba brands now. They make refrigerators and other appliances too. If you can live with the fact the whole company is owned by the Chinese government, you'll probably be glad with what you got for the money you spent.

DO NOT expect to feed it 4k signals
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Note, this tv will only upscan signals to 4k, you can *NOT* feed it UHD bluray signals, nor xbox one S/X 4k signals, etc as it does not have HDCP 2.2 the highest input it can take is 1080p. It does have youtube and netflix apps, but at least for the netflix app, the resolution isn't really 4k compared to a roku 4k box's netflix signal. This is a fine tv if you need a spare big screen or want to make baby steps towards a 4k life, but you will not be able to watch UHD movies or game in true 4k on this device so I highly suggest going elsewhere for most people

Okay, I have always been a brand guy (Lg, Vizio,) for when it comes to hdtv's but after reading numerous reviews on this site and many others AND after looking at the tv on display in BB, I decided to make the plunge. This is the best bang for the buck 4k tv for the money. Bar none! I also bought a sound bar and the combination of the awesome picture and sound, makes my viewing experience that more enjoyable. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Hisense just may be the best kept secret. The picture quality is outstanding. Right up there with the big boys, Samsung and Sony at a fraction of the price.
The remote is very responsive and everything works flawlessly. The only disappointment is that it doesn't have the Hulu app. But that is not Hisense's fault. They've been trying to partner with them. The fault is with Hulu. You would think they would want their app on as many devices as possible. The solution: buy a 4K blu ray player that has the Hulu app. Problem solved.
All in all, an incredible value for a remarkable 4K TV. Highly recommended!

I bought this exact model on amazon deal of the day for $200 and consider it The best online purchase of my lifetime.
Picture quality is outstanding, on par with my 65' Samsung, so far there is only one problem I can`t solve- Sound settings Switch back from sound bar to TV speakers. If you don`t have soundbar or never going to get one that would be not a problem for you, build in speakers half decent anyway.

This tv has everything that I expected and more. The picture quality was exceptional. The smart system was easy to use and it even has HDR capabilities. All of this for a great price. The sound from the TV is also exceptional> I did not want to purchase a soundbar at this time and the sound from the 30 watt system is plenty for my room and then some.I would definitely consider buying the larger 50 inch Hisense model they have at Best Buy for my next purchase.

I absolutely love this TV. The sound is great, picture is great. My absolute favorite function is the sleep timer button on the remote. I often forget to set the sleep timer until after I've taken my glasses off and gotten comfy. I no longer have to put my glasses back on and navigate through several menus that are so tiny I can barely see. Now it's one click and done. I haven't found anything I don't like yet. I highly recommend it!

The video quality is excellent and dark level is very good. I paid $379, and it has four HDMI (two of them support 4K at 60p, all these specs labeled), , USB3.0, 3.5mm audio out, ATSC tuner (unlike Vizio), smart TV features. The design also looks nice and it is much lighter than my Panasonic Plazma. The only complain I have is for them to list this model on their USA website and provide user manual.

Bought this TV to replace my Dynex bedroom TV, made the mistake of turning the Dynex off with the power switch on the side of the TV, static shock blew out the TV. I Was surprised to see Hisense came with a 4 year factory warranty, the norm is 1 year. Picture is great and the sound quality is very good. Has a good tuner which is important to me because I don't have cable or satellite. Very nice looking TV.

We bought this in store without looking at the reviews. We usually always look at reviews but did not on this one. We bought it because it was a great price, 4K, and a smart TV. We were only looking for smart TV's. This TV's picture was great. We were very pleased with the purchase at first. Once we starting going through the apps, we became very disappointed. They do not offer Hulu. This is a big deal to us since we stream only. They do have Netflix, VUDU, Youtube, and Amazon. The rest of the apps I had not really heard of before. We returned it quickly and got another brand. So if you're looking to get Hulu do not buy this TV. If that isn't a problem, it will be a great TV for the price. For the lack of apps, I gave it two stars.

Hi, currently Hisense TV's do not include Hulu App. The TV comes pre-loaded with these Apps: Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu, Youtube, Ultraflix, Pandora, Web Browser (Opera), and App store (Opera). You also can find some other apps on Opera App Store. We appreciate your question, and will consider adding Hulu on future models. If you have any further questions, please contact us at 1-888-935-8880.

Not bad. Watching 4K streams from Netflix and Amazon and they are very good. I put this beside a 1080p Sharp and while the detail is very good on HiSense, the colors don't match the Sharp's pureness.
I'll be trying this HiSense out next as a computer monitor. 42" Highres monitor for $350? Yay!!!

Great TV but a word of warning...

...I bought this TV with the intention of hooking up my Xbox One S to it and enjoying some HDR gaming and upscaling. Well turns out that at the time of writing this TV doesn't support HDR through it's HDMI ports, only through USB.
HOWEVER, Hisense has confirmed that this feature WILL be patched in in the near future (as they have already done with the H8 series) and the TV DOES have the hardware to support HDR10 through it's HDMI ports. I have no idea why this wasn't included to begin with.
That being said the TV looks great on your entertainment system and is really hard to beat at it's price!
