This is my second Hisense TV and definitely no the last. The price is reasonable and the picture doesn't disappoint. It certainly is equal to the more expensive brands.

The picture and color is fine when looking straight on at the screen. However, if viewing from any other angle, the picture blurs and the colors wash out. 2. When pausing programming, the TV shuts down completely after a fairy short time. This is likely a power saving feature, but there seems to be no way to disable it. Considering the lower price point, you get what you pay for with this set. We gave it a try after a fairly expensive Sony Bravia conked out just out of warranty, but it's just unpleasant to watch.
