Good picture and Good sound . Great price.Be sure to download user guide as the setup guide does not explain how to use the many functions of this smart tv. And be warned if your that person who misplaces the remote there are no buttons on this tv,it can only be operated with the remote.

I purchased this TV in May 2020, based on the rave reviews from my family and online. It was a solid purchase until a few months ago when the TV stopped working, out of the blue. It would turn on, show the Hisense/Android logo and then turn itself off. I tried unplugging for a few minutes, hoping it would reset. Luckily, I purchased the 2 yr Geek Squad plan, as the TV started having issues AFTER the 1 yr. manufacturer warranty had expired. I contacted Geek Squad about the issue; they sent someone out within the week of calling. The end result was a TV replacement, unfortunately not with Hisense. It was a good TV, maybe I had a dud. Aside from that, it was very easy to install and use. Great picture and sound quality. Very slim and lightweight.

For a $200 50 inch TV, you'd expect some corners cut. There are some issues like pixel issues, bit of a laggy performance, and muddled sound. However, the size and the other aspects make this TV a steal. If you're not too picky, this TV is a great choice especially with Dolby HDR and other options at such an affordable price.

This was my first smart tv purchase! For the price it’s good! I love it because I don’t have to use my Fire Stick on the tv. All the same apps that we were accessing on the Fire Stick is on the tv! My son is 6 and the tv is very easy to use for him! Definitely thinking about buying one for his room!

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!! I purchased this tv on May 5th 2020 was delivered on May 8th 2020 by May 25th 2020 it literally started going crazy. It freezes all the time. In the middle of me watching something via streaming (Netflix, Hulu, hbogo AND showtime anytime) it cuts off and goes to the home screen. It’s been stuck on a white screen for at least 10-15 minutes a few times. There have been times I’m watching live tv and it turns off by itself. My hands being no where near the remote!!!! I’ve tried trouble shooting. I’ve done a few soft resets and also a few factory resets. Here’s the thing with the factory resets. It’s like setting up a brand new tv every time. You have to re-download all the apps you want, input your info all over again for each app. That is soooo annoying. For a tv I’ve barely had for 3 weeks. Another “fun” thing it does, It powers itself down when ever it feels like doing so and when it’s in power down mode sometimes it’s take 2 minutes to shut down. I’ve never physically tried to power it down it does that all on its own. I feel Like I’m being punked. As if someone else has a remote and they are doing all these things. The tv has a mind of its own so to speak. Another issue it has about a 20-30 second delay so be mindful if you are trying to Do something each command will take you about 20-30 seconds before the tv recognizes what you are asking it to do Speaking of asking it to do things. Forget trying to use voice command for google Assistant because it blows. It’s never worked. Asking it something as simple as go to YouTube or turn the volume down isn’t even worth the hassle, you’ll get a menu full of choices on top of the 30 second delay. Oh by the way, you’re going to have to constantly clear your cache for each app if you expect to run smoothly for even an hour. And it is loaded with all kinds of apps that you can’t get rid of that just eats away at your memory, It’s like having an old fashioned dial up computer that has never been virus protected. It’s slow and annoying. I’ve never had so much trouble watching tv ever. Worst purchase ever!!!!. I called up Best Buy to see if I could return it because I thought I was well within my time frame. Turns out I was wrong, they only give you 15 days to make a return and unfortunately for me my television started acting up after that time frame and according to Best Buy customer service there was absolutely nothing they could do. I spoke to the agent and he was telling me to return it to my home store because they cannot process returns online, I informed him that my home store is temporarily closed because of the PANDEMIC we are in and he says well there’s really nothing I can do. It’s disappointing that as an avid best buy customer this is the “help” that I received. Needless to say I will never be shopping at Best Buy again. Now I’m left to haggle it out with the manufacturer... I just want my money back. This was a terrible purchase. I thought I was getting a great deal, turns out you get what you pay for. Wasn’t worth the deal. Now I’m stuck with a dud tv

Ive had a 40" Insignia TV for the last 5 years. I decided to make a switch and and take advantage of this great deal. Took a leap of faith after reading most of the good reviews and Im hoping that I am not disappointed in the long run. The Screen is beautiful! One thing I just didn't like was I had set up my settings and after doing it the next day it asked to updated the whole system again and it reset all my settings and logged me out all my accounts. Im hoping it doesn't do that because that would pretty much be my only headache. :) Great Brand for the price!

First purchased this tv 11/26/2019 for a Black Friday special they had going on and maybe 3 months down the line I was running into problems. 1st problem was a weird rest feature that I would have to do because the tv was unresponsive to the remote. I would have to unplug the tv from the socket and plug it back up to get it to respond to the remote, not a big problem because it worked but kinda did become a nuisance every time the tv went to sleep I had to unplug it. 2nd the stability of the apps and the tv itself. I would run into problems when I did use the apps built in on the tv at times. Sometimes everything was good sometimes everything was bad. Too slow, or just random crashes (which I’m familiar with the android ui and it act liked a very cheap android with very little ram). Updates really didn’t fix these issues. And now just two days ago the tv is completely dead. It will not stay on past the title screen. Prior to the tv turning off, we were watching YouTube (built in on the tv) and it just cut off and now won’t go past the title screen. The thing just turn off and I have to repeat the process to no change. And the most amazing part about this is it happens a month after the warranty expires. I kinda fault myself for not sending and starting a claim earlier for the prior issuers but I really thought it was just all tied to it running android software I hate to say it. The only thing I can really say about the tv is the picture wasn’t too bad for the price point of it. I’ve had other Hisense brand tv (they were not smart TVs) and I had really good luck with them, 3-5 years of service and no problems until I broke them moving so I was pretty disappointed when I ran into problems with this one. I will try to see if Hisesne would still offer support to me, but I’m not betting on it as I have already replaced the tv with a vizo. I have did a littler research and saw that it maybe is the board for the tv but again not sure as to why it would go out so soon. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I know for sure I definitely will not buy another cheaper brand television with android software.

Had a TV bust up on me right before Thanksgiving, picked this up during the Black Friday craze for $200. Picture is crisp and clean, and the Android TV features are cool as well (honestly I prefer this interface over Roku). Picture does seem a little dark in very bright rooms, but nothing that tweaking settings or closing blinds can't fix. Obviously won't perform on quite the level that a $500+ TV will, but as far as budget options go, this is a winner.

It’s an okay tv for the price, wouldn’t necessarily recommend. Picture quality and volume are both good. The operation system almost isn’t big enough to run the tv, frequently lags or freezes up and I have to factory reset or clear the cache of each app. Shouldn’t have to do that with a brand new tv, but it does work otherwise lol. Might hook up a Roku through HDMI instead of using it as a smart tv and see if it helps.

I bought TV close to a month, after older led TV broke. This TV has been great I've put 2 PS4's running on it on the separate HDMI obviously. Sound bar hooked up(although the sound it comes with is way better than expected and loud) my wife likes to stream music during the day so needed the extra speakers attached. Wi-Fi speeds and reception great. Even have digital antenna connected and those channels look beautiful. Raised my Netflix to High HD steaming and wow amazing visuals. Also, tested streaming Disney ➕ from Tablet to the Hisense TV and flawless, ran a Star Wars marathon on it was great. I ran as much into this set I could think of to make sure it was solid. If you want to nit pick, the only thing I've noticed is at times between black transitioning screens some blocks here and there. But darks are handled in my opinion super smooth considering amount invested, way higher performance than expected. Android format I'm happy with it, I was a bit torn between the Roku version and this one and have been happy with user interface, especially the quick buttons on remote for Netflix etc. Btw, I used to repair TV's and DVD players I'm pretty crucial to picture quality. Only reason I didn't repair old TV I had was because it was time to invest in the modern tech. Once you go through the set up at first to up TV its been smooth sailing! Loving it.

I absolutely love my television because everything plays so clearly and the sounds come out great even without connecting it to a surround sound. My favorite feature is how it already has apps installed already and you can easily get to them by pressing the label on the remote or by pressing the voice search button on the remote. I am in love with this television that I have to get another one for another bedroom.

I bought this TV for the size and because it was the right price. I've come to quickly enjoy using some of the smart features, like casting to the TV from my Chrome browser and from YouTube. The TV was easy to set up as well, and I was using it within an hour or less of removing it from the packaging. I think the overall picture could be more crystal clear, but that said, it's not bad at all. I got it on sale and would definitely recommend it to others at the sale price.

This is a great bang for buck tv. The Visual quality is great but I am not sure if this is True 4k or if they are using some upscaling technology. It is a little laggy sometimes but the update fixed most of those issues. I love that it already has smart apps built-in, so no need for an amazon fire stick here. Overall pleased with this tv for the Guest bedroom.
