Great... for the most part

This one says that it is, but it is not a true 4k UHD unfortunately. It is more like a test tv. If you want to have an apple tv this is definitely not going to work for the newer models.

I wanted a good value, no frills, but got SO much more! I went in-store to compare tv's that I had been researching online for weeks. I came across this Hisense 50in, 4K for $350 and couldn't pass it up! Built-in apps like Netflix/Amazon were a bonus for me, and going a little over my (frugal) budget in lieu of buying a Firestick/Roku for this model was a no-brainer. The picture is a true 4K, and SO much less expensive than better known brands. I was even more surprised once I got home and discovered that the built-in speakers were more than adequate for our master bedroom (for my needs; no reason to move my Bose Solo in here)! The only 'down side' to this is that it's gonna cost me in the long run...now that I have such an awesome picture, I want to upgrade to HD Cable and replace a Panasonic plasma tv in our theatre room with a comparable Hisense because the Hisense has me spoiled!! LOL Here's a shot of the screen (Netflix HD) during broad daylight with light from two doors shining into the room.
